This is how I made all my Frostgrave ruined buildings, and pretty much anything brick based. This video is kinda my love letter to Miscast for introducing me to EVA foam as a terrain building material.

  • @Berserkerworks

If you are going for snow there are better alternatives to sand, like baking soda. Sand may end up giving the wrong texture. When I made the Frostgrave battle mat I used straight white caulk. I'm so happy to hear you are give this a try!

Great video! I've been using XPS for terrain for a while now, and was always leery of EVA because of it's squishiness. Now you've convinced me that the squishiness is a feature, not a bug. So, frostgrave was put on hold. However, my 5 year old saw what I was doing and has been playing D&D with me for weeks now! Have you to thank for that! I ended up making several ruined walls, and 2x2" slabs to make a 2'x4' play board. And made some statues and now a gold pile. Ha. It's been nice to craft again. Going to make an insta to post the build pictures I guess. Maybe, I'll start making videos again. 🤣
