Watch me. The thing you are trying to do is fundamentally different but the thing I will be doing is what you call demand side management because storage is the costly part. all you need is enough storage to run LED lights and a TV at night. I you do things like run power tools and a washing machine then you can do that when the sun is up on real time solar power. You will be amazed how little you need.

can you run the AGM batteries with the 5500w inverter in your amazon store?

Panels will need to be changed out after 20 years, batteries every 5 to 20 years. Where I’m at, grid is cheaper.

Hey just a quick question if you have a answer grate, what realistically would someone need to run 1.08kW? Currently running a small home farm off 30amp 240 v but I may have to move out to the country and I'm looking for a place to start. Currently power cost 0.08cents but the country could be like 0.20... To 0.30. I'm in Canada Ontario. Just looking what I could put up to cut costs if I move. A place to start.

So you have a hybrid system where when the batteries are full the miners run off the solar power off-grid, and then at night it automatically switches back to grid power? Did you wire it yourself or also call an electrician?

Yes, i get about 6 hours per day on battery. Did it all myself. After lots of consulting with Dr Google & Professor KZread

R those solar panels the used one from used reseller place. I can't recall what the place. But I'm looking at doing some but having to get a hold of the H.O.A. and see. Nice setup dude. So jealous.

They are used, but from an individual. He gets them from an installer company somewhere out west. I don't ask to many questions, but they were pretty darn cheap compared to what else I have found out there :)

I did the install myself. The panels and batteries were purchased used from local sources. I would suggest looking for decommissioned data center UPS batteries for a really good deal 👍

you're going to need a LOT more panels and s boatload more battery capacity... 1 ASIC running 3,200watts/hr for 10 non-daylight hours is 32kWattsI have 2x Big Battery Rhinos and that is only 28kWatts. This being if you want to run on solar only. I realize the age of this video and the market today is vastly different where being 100% solar doubles profitability. Where are you at today, still mining, how much solar and battery?

I am currently at 5kw in solar, and 1300ah in SLA batteries. I havent expanded since, and definitely realized early on that full solar isnt going to work for mining. So I have it running a few miners that are solo mining DOGE. If it hits its a huge payout next bull run, and I have already fully depreciated the panels and gear

@@GeekOfAllTrades my existence is entirely off-grid and I have a capacity of 75-90kWatts per day. I am thinking about running an ASIC during daylight as I only use around 25-30 kWatts/day. To make it through the night I’d need another Rhino, $6k for another one. Might be worth it.

How much have you paid for everything roughly & did you already made profits?! (how much per month?) 😜 🤝 🇨🇭
