This is the exact reason I play PDR builds. Some don't seem to understand why I play fighter alot recently. It's because you have fights that last longer than 2-3 hits. Longer fights = more skill expression and more fun overall. Most classes just evaporate after getting hit even once.

5:50 yeah i would agree that campfire in boss room was the better play for holy strikes. When i first watched i thought the mistake was not drinking any health potions whilst in boss room and using 2 lessers with mild overheal waste. But those mistakes become irrelevant if you both get to full reset basically.

Correct. Using health pots would have been the slightly better move, but in reality campfire was the play here.

Instead of bless eq or swarm. I found those are cleaner for dealing ‘those’ types

Unfortunately just feels underwhelming in solos. I'm considering divine strike over bless.

I wanted to ask you do you think it's justifiable bringing faithfulness instead of blunt weapon mastery or holy aura just for the holy strikes? Note that smite does not deal divine magical damage, it's only magical damage.

Ha, those heals are righteous my brother. I do believe that Iron mace is going to give a little more to Cleric very soon. Cleric can be a difficult class to mess with because of his strength in Team Comps. However, if they give cleric more weapon options; you could play the class in a different way. We saw from Multi-classing; Clerics with JUST Weapon mastery, become a difficult 1v1. I would want Cleric to have a perk that lets them use Longsword, if it wasn't so unreliable. in short, weapon versatility allows for counter play; and versatility. As Fighter has Slayer, an option to build lighter and DPS. A ranger Xbow mastery, a different Range play. As Warlock has PlateLock and Demon. Cleric is missing versatility in weapon options, thus removing he strength in a Solo comp. Due to the nature of Solo's, you may be face a number of varied classes. Just having the access to other weapons, would help Cleric substantially, IMO!

gg firebox that fight was a struggle i thought u would die so many times but your pdr was just too high for the rondel. i was new to the build so it was a very fun fight and im starting to learn how to use the build more effectively from that long fight we had. seems like were 2-2 now in terms of killing each other i think. cant wait to see u in the next dungeon fight we have edit: looking at all the comments now saeying how i was being an ass and boring playing fighter like a ranger, all of u who think that dont understand whats its like to play fighter and get inf kited by rangers, rogues, wiz, and warlocks, and even barbarians in 300+ gs lobbies, it is impossible to play normal pdr fighter because you do not have enough ms to get away or close to them and they have the ability to melt you in an instant or chase you as long as they want. The current state of the game in solos is mainly utilizing ms because you have the ability to make space, pressure people from resetting and being able to not let them get a break. I'm only trying out ms builds on fighter because playing fighter like a fighter makes you lose the majority of fights against competent players in 300+ gs. you have no one to back you like you would in duos and trios. You have to play smart in order to win and theres a reason why fighter is the easiest class to be able to use and thats because of how versatile it is. it all depends on the player itself and I try my best under the circumstances that i have to be able to win.

Run Blunt weapon over faith. Divine strike over holy strike. I think divine protection at 45% is still better then smite. Use Molly's and drums for range, it is better then holy strike. Drums do more and you can dump loads of Molly's and it make people panic hard. With divine protection you can get MR (need 50% MIN)parts and your only hard match up is this guy in the video. You can skill issue everyone else. Just don't pop DP before anyone starts swinging or you auto lose.im the current rank one cleric and this felt like the best set up I can do.

You should time your ducks/jukes and mix them up, you always seem to jump and/or look straight down, good jukes can make the best ranger player look like a potato

I'm used to the infinite kiting at this point. It's a game issue

The fight represents everything wrong with the game in a short couple of minutes. Fighters scared to melee, shoots 100 arrows, stabs qith dagger 1 time and sprints away. When you lose vs that gameplay its not fun, when you win vs that gameplay its still not fun bc of the annoying chickenshit gameplay factor. I stopped playing after i accumulated an insane amount of ban notifications from esp. Its much more widespread that ppl think.

Yeah, ive stopped playing at 1k hours because of this. How is a fight like this any fun? Fighter is scared to melee and just kiting around shooting 100 arrows for 5 dmg each. Slayer fighter used to be dope. Why is this the meta?

Some "fighter"...and one of the problems with this game, when fighters and encouraged to be rangers more than "fighters".

Thats what the racecar PDR fighter does. Kites like a ranger but still has alot of PDR. It's quite strong, especially with the dagger allowing for instant pull-out of your weapon during a fight.

Oh that fighter fight remembered me why is exactly i hate the state of the game right now. Absolutely disgusting, boring and dumb. Might as well call the game kite and kiter.

Oh yeah, this is how most fights are at 300+. It's why cleric is the weakest class in the game for solos.

Not a good statement. That’s how some classes are played. If a bard ranger or wizard or even warlock don’t kite they auto lose the fight
