Hia, I’m just wondering did you record over a backing track? Did you do this as a different chanel? I’m so confused how to do all of this and I have a deadline for Friday to either send in a self tape or a vocal reel. At the moment I have merged together videos of me performing live in concerts but the vocal quality is not fantastic … it sounds like me but it isn’t studio quality

hey a tip i used for my microphone when it was distorting is turn the microphone volume down to like virtually zero, then there was way less harsh noises, i use audacity and you can just turn the volume right down on audacity and also your computer settings when the mic is plugged in. Hope that helps!

Hi Hayley! Thank you for this video. What program did you use for editing your reel? x

I started with iMovie for my reels too. It's a great started editing program that's typically free if you use MAC. When I upgraded I bought Filmora which is part of Wondershare. It's fancier than iMovie but still user friendly! love it!
