    Those things that are protruding out the running board are frame extensions, they strengthen the front and are parts of the frames/chassis. They are vital to an engine working properly and in James' case, rather strong, considering how many times he has derailed, or somehow damaged himself.

    All that’s left is to make is the thoroughbred, old Iron, and a garden shed and you have the main cast. Phenomenal work, the splendid red mogul looks stellar. keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

    It will be one of two characters. Both appear in all 3 forms of the franchise. RWS,TVS and CGI series. I never really go an make CGI only characters. More a fan of the RWS and Series 1-7 of the TVS.@@calebc.2290

    Personally, James is my favorite steam engine character in the railway franchise. Looking at the wonderful production process, it's reproduced just like it was in the model series, so it's good to bring back memories of my childhood.

    Lovely model as usual, I believe those extensions in James's footplate are his frames, that's what I've been told once and it seems to make sense

    James is the character I want to make as soon as I get a 3d printer and all the models that are being made is a huge inspiration to me and yours stand out they are just amazing I don't know how you do it! And where did you get the faces are they available to buy?

    I haven't bought anymore tomica engines since I reviewed the last ones. I considered doing more reviews on my channel but I don't know if it's the direction I want the channel to go in or not! If I ever do purchase more I will review them!

    Yep my Bachmann Thomas when I got around to fixing it after 10 years the first thing replaced all the wiring with thicker wire Also did you paint your faces yourself?

    @@DangerAngelous For the grey I use Tamiya light grey primer. This is used for the running board and faces. I might do a video soon on how I paint the faces. I t's something I had been thinking about
