This is for real one of my favorite songs ever. Chord progression is perfect and great sound selection as well!

Thank you!!
Just love your work.
incredible work man, very inspiring!
Some absolutely priceless tips in here. I love the idea of rendering out the track and running it through Portal as an intro. Definitely going to try that.
Sick bro, would love to see your mixing process!
Thanks for the inspiration. Love your music.

great tutorial! Could you please explain why you have some tracks on sent only? And could we get a peak on your mix/master workflow? :)

Thats because i root everything that needs to be sidechained trough a send, where i have my sidechain plugin. So i dont have to put sidechain on every singel track. its very lazy, and a bit painful when you send it in for Mastering but it helps my workflow while creating the song 😁

@@Cellaofficial awesome man! thanks for answering!
This week-end, I woke up every day with this song in my head (not In My Head haha), after bad dreams. I don't know if it's a sign haha. No matter, I wanted to send you a song that I made with Isle5 that I found amazing ! How can I reach you, let me know ! I'm from Switzerland. Thank you, and keep being amazing Cella ! Thank you for your amazing universe !

nice to hear! hit me up per DM on Instagram :)
You're the best source of inspiration right now! Tell us please, do You mix Your thacks by yourself? 🤟 Because in final track for ex. we hear, that synth are really wide I assume that You are showing us not the final piece of work, right? :)

All the newer Songs are mixed by myself. I noticed that i had some issue with my audio, so everything coming out of Ableton got recorded mono 🥶Thats why the original sounds wider!
Came back to see more breakdowns and you have none! Do 'Drowning' ........
Could you break down Cigarette?
Do you mix your own songs or send them to someone else?

i mix them myself but send them in for mastering to my engineer at Influx Studios. 😊
Where to begin. I'm almost 68 years old and I love this music. BUT.... this is a fascinating video for the background it provides, but it makes me wonder, where is the creativity? It's a different kind of creativity. Maybe everything has already been done, and there's nothing left for creativity but to architecturally deconstruct and reassemble? I recognize the intelligence and labor that goes into the creation of this particular piece (which I love) but I have to ask myself, where is the originality? This is no way compares with, for example, Joni Mitchell creating her own chords to capture the feeling she was trying to express. True art involves both art and craft. I'm afraid this kind of work predominantly represents craft.
