Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Ryobi Miter Saw
Ryobi Nail Gun
Clamps
Hammer
Ruler
Level
Measuring Tape
Parts:
Lag Screws
Brad Nails
3 inch screws
1 inch screws
Wood Glue

Really great build. So nice to see someone do it without tens of thousands of dollars of tools and a shop bigger than my house.

Totally agree, I’ve noticed a trend on YT where there are almost to many million dollar tool shops constructing amazing stuff. Great to watch but that’s about all it;s worth. This guy makes it more approachable!

SplitFeather Zephier-Net ...........Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books. The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14. The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then Sabbath day. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time. The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept! God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.” How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? This along should help a person to see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49 Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A. Do the “Seven Noahide Laws” From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. Will these laws be enforced on all nations??? Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws" THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!! Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews. Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan. If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern? If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world? Who are the true Bloodline Jews? HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!

I did a faux fireplace with cedar fence planks before, as they dry, they shrink A TON, so if you have time, I recommend letting them sit for a few weeks prior to cutting or screwing so they are closer to the actual size they will stay. Awesome project!!

Thank you for the video! Super helpful and economical and as a total beginner I feel fairly comfortable attempting this. I’m really excited to try this out. I’m going through the video taking notes and was wondering, are the top and bottom pieces (the 1x6s you glued together) the same length as the anchor piece (56in)? I’m hoping to make my shelf 6ft (72in) long using some 1in X 12in X 6ft pieces for the top and bottoms. Would I cut the 2x4 anchor piece 6ft (72in) or 6ft-2in (70in) in length? I think I would cut it 6ft since the front and sides of the shelf attached to the 1x12x6 would in theory fit over the anchor but I’m not sure. I hope this question makes sense. Again, totally noob here haha. Truly appreciate any insight you have. P.s I love the plant holder video as well and I’m going to knock that out after these shelves! :)

I have been wrong 1 other time but I'm pretty sure that was just a "ratchet" u used. A "tork wrench" u set the pounds and it clicks when u get to that amount of tork. As for the adaptors u can get them at Harbor Freight for cheap! And if that wall was a load baring wall u compromised it by using bolts that large into the 2+4s.

I appreciate that its a strong floating shelf but I don't like the look of a thich shelf maybe I would personally reduce the thickness and that would look better for me. Would using steel dowels instead help keep the shelf strong as well as help keep the shelf slim...

  • @thomasnq

is it possible to build the same shelf with the same durability but only half as thick? I've seen similar videos using the same technique but they all seem to be quite thick which is not aesthetically pleasing
