Yes I have this red clay soil! No plant survived in it and I planted roses but they died so I finally realized the ptoblem is not enough soil and on top of it’s clay soil

Ain't that the truth! And every plant requires different amendments! For example, I just planted two magnolias that require slightly acidic soil as well as well-draining. It is a constant chore.

I have clay soil , I like it lol ( now I know why my lavender died lol)

The plants are planted too close to one another.
