Good teachers get just as excited when students make mistakes as when they say something right because it gives us a chance to help you! Teachers love teaching so when a student knows everything it's like.....why do you need me? 😥
choosing the Egyptian dialect is actually really smart, it's one of the easiest to understand for us other Arabic dialects speakers thanks to Egyptian cinema, and also because it's the closest to the MSA. The downside is that u may find other dialects hard to understand (especially maghrib dialects). Keep it up!
@pear4576

Maybe I'm wrong but if I remember correctly, Levantine Arabic is actually closest to MSA and not Egyptian. And if it's not Levantine, I still don't think it's Egyptian. Out of all the answers I've seen to which dialect is closest to MSA, Egyptian hasn't come up once.
@user-pv3tf4wy3t
2 жыл бұрын
Egyptian dialect isn't actually the closest to MSA nor is the Levantine, the closest I would say is the Najdi dialect (Riyadh) in Saudi Arabia, but for non Arabic speakers I think the easiest dialects are Egyptian and Levantine, first cuz they don't pronounce some of the difficult letters like 8 (ق) for example they use A (ا) instead and also cuz of the many resources, Songs, Drama, TV shows where compared to other Arabic countries they are the best, BTW I'm from Saudi Arabia

Actually as an arab my self i would say that modern standard arabic AKA “fusha” is used in cartoons but it’s not it . It is the language we use for the news or tv , interviews , translation in the phone you can’t use any dialect you will have to use fusha . Also fusha will help you to talk to people from all arab countries if you don’t know they’re dialect . But ofc with those features unfortunately it is considered so hard for the English speaker but nothing is impossible I guess 😄🙏🏻
