    The problem is not the lighting. The problem is the color choice on the cabin walls. Choosing raw pine so close to the skin in a narrow space was a very wrong choice. (Unless it serves the story, of course.) I think you've been patient enough. I think you even lit that damn cabin well. If I were you, I would immediately oil that pine tree with pure oil or cover it with wallpaper.
