    Dimes, Im a 12 Year old QB, reaching 6'0, and Close for my 13th Birthday. Here in Canada we dont do Middle School Football, instead in Highschool and College, We Do Football, its Similar but not Very Similar for the 12-13th Grade System. Weighing 150. and I have a very bad Throwing Motion, but Have a Very good Spiral and Accuracy, Im Improving on it alot from First Down Training, and You. Ive been watching your arm on every Video, And Its hard to twist my hips because Im Big, and I always Lock out, so Im learning from This Video and do whatever your Telling me What to do, and if it Pays off, I Wouldnt even know how much I would thank you.

    I'm Brazilian and here the sport is starting to grow, I don't have anyone to teach me in person, I've practically watched all your videos, my mechanics are good but far from ideal, I feel like I have several mistakes that I can't identify, one of them is the rotation of my hand, I simply can't rotate my hand so the ball comes out of my hand with a good and precise spiral, I really wanted some way to send videos to someone to help me, but here where I live it's extremely difficult to find someone to help me to help

    It is tough to learn the best way to throw, especially on your own. My best advice is to literally just spend time studying & understanding as much as u can. Really paying attention to the specifics & then studying your own movements to find out what is different/causing issues for you 🙏

    Dimes I just wanna say something so one day I’m just chillin in school with all my friends then they talking all about football and yeah then I start playing football at recess. After that I realized how much I loved football. But there was one thing I always played WR but I wanted to be a QB but I sucked at it. So I threw the ball with my dad and mom all the time. I started to improve a little but I couldn’t throw a spiral I had no arm or accuracy. So I decided to go on KZread. I watched all sorts of videos but nothing helped. Then I came upon one of your videos then I practiced that technique and then I could throw ten yards father make it to the person I’m throwing to and also throw a tight spiral. And now I’m here starting QB for our football team. Thank you dimes.

Just knowing & learning information out there is one thing, but taking what u learn & applying it/capitalizing to where u become the starting QB is a whole other thing 💯 That takes a lot of attention to detail & dedication. Your story is the reason I do this 🙏 I can’t wait to see where u take it because I know you’re gonna keep working 💪

    Hey Dimes, I play quarterback for a 6v6 flag football league. I haven't played quarterback in 10 years and got back to it this summer. My first games I was able to put the ball wherever I wanted it and make strong accurate throws. The last two games though, my ulnar nerve in my throwing arm hurts so bad after a couple throws and I have to switch to receiver to keep playing. I watched your video on how to reduce elbow pain when throwing, but the pain is still there after my stretches. You got any idea what else I could do to fix this?

  • @dimes.

    @dimes.

    6 күн бұрын

    I would heavily focus on releasing your bicep, tricep, & forearm/wrist/grip muscles. The issue could be stemming from any one of those muscles. Try stretching, strengthening, & rolling out. Also be patient with this process. Sometimes I’ll over work my arm & it can take 1-2 weeks to get the pain to reside. Let me know if this helps 🙏

    Me and my friends play out in the front.of the house , but when i play qb, the ball comes out wonky sometimes, When i throw it, it spins sideways and most of the time is really low. Plus its hard to get a spiral when i throw it perfectly to the receiver

    I quit baseball in 3rd grade to play aau basketball, & don’t have much a background in throwing a baseball. I think it would help most to focus on the principles of throwing that pertain to both (balance & sequencing) & in time the small mechanical differences will be easier to switch between

    Hello dimes, it’s silly of me calling you this but you really are just dimes! I’ve watched so much of your videos. Guess what, I also improved a lot! Quick question this might seem silly and it’s probably a yes, but does strength matter more than like your movement sequence? I’ve been training a lot but can’t seem to throw to far. Thanks!

  • @dimes.

    @dimes.

    6 күн бұрын

    😂 I never intended people calling me dimes, it just started happening. Thank u tho 🙏 & strength is purely supplemental. Technique will take u very far, & strength will add to that, but just getting strong with poor technique won’t get u as far. Overall athleticism will help you level up as a thrower & as a qb in general tho 🙏

  • @dimes.

    9 күн бұрын

    Try to keep your wrist neutral through your wind up & only pronate it & turn it over through the release 🙏 it’s hard to be perfect, everyone’s spirals turn a little but there are also other factors that could make it turn, like wind & the angle of the ball at release
