Музыка

Want to produce music in a genre, but can't find any tutorials on KZread? Showing you the method I use to go about breaking down songs, starting with the easiest part: drums. I like this method, a very hands-on way for learning the drum patterns of new genres and also some good ear training - thanks for sharing! Tiny nitpick: I think the last snare hit is not removed in the second snippet but rather moved to the last eigth note of the loop.

Great stuff as usual! And since I'm fully into the flow of getting to know drums better, this couldn't come at a more perfect moment!

This right here is going to be super helpful. Now that I think about it. This is just like isolating guitar parts to learn how to play those parts. Very cool, never thought about trying it for the drums!

@@Thought-Forms do you have any other tips for complete newcomers to Bitwig? I’m trying to make dnb/jungle in the same pocket of the sound that the north quarter, Omni, and over/shadow occupy. I’d like to try some psydub too once I have a better understanding of synths.

How do you modify the apple 'music' like that?

That's an app called Doppler - got sick of how Apple Music treats local libraries and made the switch over. If Apple gets their stuff together I'd love to switch back to apple music

Seems a little pointless to do it like this if you are just going to program straight notes on the grid you could literally do it by ear just as easily. If you really wanna copy the groove of the beat you really need to turn the snap off and slide those notes about to match.
