This is the definition of someone who doesn’t take anything in their life for granted. I would go on the record to say the most humble man to ever hit KZread.

Started getting DDE in my recommended about a month or two ago. It's such a great channel as the people in it are just likable and not irritating or obnoxious. Their videos they're posting now of them in Japan are awesome.

Starbucks to supercars. Now that is a Cinderella story.

Dave has literally always been there for Damon. And it’s a true friend moment when you can help each other out. Dave earned that R8. Congrats buddy.

Loved the interview. Dave is so likable, he's like the canada of people. Enjoyed the origin story. Nice to fill in the blanks and see a different side of him.

This is the story I've been waiting for! Very awesome that Damon saw potential in Dave. And the fact that Dave left his 9 to 5 and went full time into DDE taking the risk is amazing. This is what hard work and dedication can do!

I remember my first ticket warrant too Dave... I also thought it was cool for half a second then realized I really need to pay that lol.

Obviously not. Dave joined because he had a Ferrari and knew that meant he hadn’t potential. If it was the integra even after 10 years of course he wouldn’t join. That just means he hasn’t no potential. Damon earns a Ferrari so obviously Dave knew what he was doing so he quit his job. Idiot

Awesome story from Dave. Having the channel expand to other "hosts" has been a terrific model. Once Dave started to take some of the more regular duties, the channel started to grow even faster. He's got a laid back demeanor and seems very likeable and modest. Was very excited when he opened up the R8 and more so when the Gallardo arrived! Well done, Dave!

So cool, born and raised in Powell River (not actually part of van isle but everyone thinks is it is) grew up cleaning up in my dad's body shop watching him restore classics and build hot rods. Now I'm head tech at a local repair shop. I watch the DDE channel and tons of vinwiki hoping that one day an opportunity like this will come along! You guys are super humble about it all, keep up the solid work boys!
