Ive been a fan for about a year and you and Matt (golf sidekick) have greatly help me improve my course management skills. I started golf in my 30s with my dad but quit for the past 8 years after his passing. My wife got me to get back on the course last yeat and it reawakened my love of the sport and the memories i have with my dad. I started watching you when i came across your thumbnail about scoring with a bad swing. I have a ugly swing myself but managed to get under 90. Watching your videos enabled me to get under 80 and even go even par once. I finally got fitted for the first time and hope after the adjustment to my new clubs, switched shafts and adjusted them 2 degrees and added .5 inch because im over 6ft tall, that i can break 80 consistently. I want to thank you for your videos and the knowledge and advice you give in them. Not being a long hitter myself but having confidence inside 125 yrds and applying your tips i find myself scoring better and staying very positive even after bad shots. Thank you again for what you do and i look forward to seeing more. If you are ever in Las Vegas i would like to suggest Palm Valley, my dad's home course. I think you will enjoy the beauty of the course as well as the well rounded challenges. Thank you again Adam.

Your videos are helping me quite a bit with the mental side of my golf game. I used to play baseball so club head speed is not an issue but I am not consistent enough to control the speed. I was swinging at almost 100% power and spraying the ball everywhere. Watching you play has helped me slow down and play what is more consistent. You can score well without hitting 300+ drives. Maybe one day I’ll be able to incorporate more swing speed but golf is way more enjoyable when you aren’t searching in the trees.

I recognize your game at Chambers Bay. The spraying of the ball left and right is the bane of my game, and for me, the problem is entirely alignment. I aim too far right, which causes me to swing the club too far from the inside. The result is either the clubface being open, which slices the ball right, or I flip the clubface closed and hook it left. I've been doing this so long that even when someone aligns me correctly, out of habit, I swing too far inside out, still. It looked to me as if nearly every shot you took was aligned right, causing the same results I experience. I haven't watched the Bandon Dunes portion yet, so maybe you fixed this. 🙂

Chambers is absolutely BRUTAL. Gary Player railed against it for good reason. I was lucky enough to go see the Women's Amateur there and it was something to behold. Those ladies hit shot after shot after shot that were just phenomenal in THAT environment. I've played it twice and I don't see me going back on purpose.

Interesting. I actually quite liked it (although I still have all of the Bandon courses ahead of it). And similarly, I was lucky to watch an LPGA event (Canadian Open) at my home course in Vancouver. I was a walking scorer throughout the tournament, and man, it's like they're not even human. Watching them demolish par from 6,700 with distances comparable to mine was eye-opening.

@@NotAScratchGolfer Just mind boggling! The AM event there wasn't well attended, so I got to just walk right behind the groups. 20-30 feet away from the golfers, RIGHT ON THE FAIRWAY! It was so cool. I also saw a girl hit the green from the pot bunker on 18. Just mind bogglingly awesome. The Home Course is worth a stop, and Trophy Lake is pretty great when they have it in good shape (haven't been in a few years). Gold Mountain is a must as well. Love the channel, man. Keep up the good work.

Love the video Adam! Have you got below a 70 before? Also, I have watched a few videos from someone who tries and scores low from the front tees. He says it is very hard mentally and forces you to work on the short game. You should try it! Get some confidence in those shorter chips. Good watching you as always!

Thanks! And funny you say that, that's exactly what I do by playing O'Donnell in Palm Springs. It's 5,300 yards. My low score there is a 4-under 66. And indeed, that exercise (trying to break par there) really alerted me to how mentally demanding it is to go deep.

I paused the video at the break to Brandon Dunes. Dude don’t fret this is golf. You have the game but it feels like you may have lost some concentration. Either way you did good keeping the mood light and acknowledging that golf is a volatile sport!

Congrats on the under par round at Bandon. Swing looked the same but course might have been a bit more forgiving. Either way, well done and it is a well deserved under par round. Congrats!

A fade is def better than a duck hook. I have been struggling at times with the duck hook. It’s very frustrating. I’d rather fade a ball in bounds any day than a duck hook OB.

Adam if you have 200 yards into a par 4 , don't you think your playing the wrong tee's. I think if you moved up a tee box the 90's would be gone and under par would always be in play for you. This is coming from a senior golfer who can't reliably carry 200 yards of the tee. Also what a course.😎😎
