2 days ago my father made russian shashlik for the first time. After dinner he laughed and said that he don't know how such a weird recipe can taste that good. The meat was soft like butter.

that's actually not the easiest thing to cook. i'm russian myself and i prefer to grill pork steaks than doing a proper shashlik as those that Boris does. steak is 1000 times easier.

I love how Boris' father is so understanding in the shenanigans of the small Boris.

Boris is a very good physical storyteller. He could teach physics like this and it would be very easy to understand, would get instant 100% on next test guaranteed.

@@fadeduser33 I didn't break the spaghetti in half, and just leaned it against the side, figured it'd slide into the pot as it cooked. Instead it drooped over the side into the burner.

Im not even 20 seconds in. I already know it will be a Slavic masterpiece.

So many words that are so similar but have a slight nuance in meaning that separates them from each other, otherwise they wouldn’t be different words. This is both the difficulty and the beauty of the English language.

I always put my eggs in the cold water, it takes 18 minutes on my stove for them to be hardboiled. Also you avoid egg cracking from the chock of being put in boiling water.
