It's easy to grow a young child's hair....it's when they turn 12 years old and don't want you to fuss in their hair and want 'styles'....and its a battle to stop the split ends.

So true. It's actually really easy to grow a child's hair regardless of the curl type or texture as long as you are consistent. It when they get older and want to try all these heat styles, weave style and don't want to clip their ends. I was one of those kids lol I had long hair as a child but when I became a teen I wanted ADULT looking styles and I messed my hair up lol.talking I had to cut 10 inches off but I didn't care as long as It was relaxed BONE STRAIGHT.

Remember one twin takes more nutrients from the other in the womb. Is the one with long hair bigger, taller, less prone to illnesses or a bigger eater? If the answer is yes to any of these then you've identified why one has long hair and why one doesn't. Good luck 🙂

Go natural for that ones hair. If she's not allergic to these ingredients its guaranteed to work. Shampoo: - 1 yellow onion - 2 cloves of garlic - 1 tbs of rosemary, clove, or lavender depending on what is accessible. This is OPTIONAL but helps target treat. - 1 inch piece of black soap. This is OPTIONAL. - 3 TO 6 tbs of honey - 2 to 3 cups of water. Chop onion into big pieces. Take the flat part of the knife and crush garlic and onion. Let sit for 10-15 minutes. Bring water to boiling point and add onions and garlic. Boil till translucent. Turn off heat and add herbs IF desired. This will work just fine without optional ingredients. Let stand for additional 10 minutes then add honey. The drier the hair the more honey. Once mixture is cool strain and apply to hair. Leve in for at least 15 minutes but the longer the better. It's also safe to drink and taste good if you don't put black soap. Very healthy too. NO it doesn't taste super garlicky or oniony. NOR does it smell after you rinse it out. Conditioner/deep conditioner - coconut cream or milk, depending on the dryness, cream for supper thick or dry hair. - banana puree. I use Gerber. - 3 to 6 tbsp of honey To make it a deep conditioner soak 1/2 cup of oats in coconut milk, water or cream for 1 to 2hrs then strain the liquid. Or you can simply blend then strain. Mix together and apply to hair for at least 30 minutes to overnight depending on if you are doing a deep conditioning or not. To make it a protien treatment (once a month) add liquid amino acids. Looks like soy sauce. Add 1-2 tbs for 30 minutes. This conditioner works best on dry or damp hair, if not it will turn really watery, just a heads up. Also we like to save a bit of the mixture to put in a blender with ice to make a smoothie some times adding a tbs of vanilla and it tastes sooo good. Rinse OPTIONAL. But helps seal and define and adds shine as well as kill fungal growth. - 1tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 cup of water or coconut water - 3 tbs of aloe vera OPTIONAL. mix and massage into hair and rinse. You can keep it simple and dont do any of the OPTIONAL or do some or all. Important to finish with a good sealant like castor oil or grease. If you use grease or petroleum you must use store bought shampoo 1st then the others. Try this for 2 to 4 weeks doing these once a week and tell us how it went. If you want to know what each ingredient does let me. I have over 15 years researching government experiments with each ingredient and it along with prayer cured my daughter of an incurable scalp condition. So I vouch for it. Stay blessed on your journey.

How do you trim her hair? Do you go to professionals?

I’ve been doing these tips but her edges are always thinner with baby hairs. Is that normal for a 2 year old?

Growing long hair is extremely hard and almost impossible if you don't want to keep your hair wet and keep your hair in protective styles. I like my hair to be dry ( not dried out, but not wet).

Growing long hair isn't hard at all, I don't keep my daughters hair wet (that's damaging to the hair) and her hair isn't kept in a protective style (only for school) on the weekends I take her hair out.

Hey sis! Thanks for sharing, you've got to make time for it. The truth is we all don't have time, I'm personally a busy person but I make time for it otherwise it would never happen 👑
