This problem should be sorted out ASAP. It shouldn't be this hard to become a pharmacy intern. In the mean while, the healthcare system suffers from a severe shortage of trained pharmacist in the country. We must organize ourselves better for the sake of progress. Story of my life. I’m a foreign medical doctor and I just got inducted in January and I live here in Abuja. The struggle in getting a hospital placement here in Abuja is HARD! I was in fmc jabi a couple of weeks ago and long story short, you’ll need connections or like you said grace.

To get Internship placement in Nigeria is like fighting a war....most places don't even place advert and our council don't even care ... their own is to collect induction fee and release you into the internship market.

Woww.....you found grace and favour....That really was a testimony!!! Thank God 😇 I think everybody has a story of how they got internship placement. For me, it was God's favour too, first place i applied to and my name came out, though it was a new city but i didn't mind, I was excited, I always wanted to work there, I didn't write any exam, I only went for the interview, i didn't think i would get in coz of the number of applicants, fellow interns back then were asking me about my connection but na baba God run am for me 🙏🏽🥰

No I also applied to community, Pcn, NAFDAC, the places listed on the accredited list

Pcn has a list of places you can only work with so it depends on the state of choice and what's on the list for that state
