Nice find on your insurance That's ridiculously cheap for a 20yr old on a CLA 45. I was paying £2000 on a 1.0 Corsa in the first year (with parents on policy) !

save you some time , he only made two points - put mum and dad on -set the start date of the policy to a week ahead

Every time I think of getting a different car other than a cla 45 amg, I see your car and have change of heart. I just love the wrap and the mods u did on your car.

useful video mate. i got caught out on insurance premiums loads of times. did a quote like you 3 weeks before my insurance was about to expire so thought great, i will insure it a few days before it expires. the price jumped up from £550 to £700 when the time came. it was on a z4 35is. had no choice but to take the hit. if i had insured it 2-3 weeks prior, i would of saved that. the following year i learnt my lesson and insured it a month prior and saved £140. also in the future, if you put your other half on the insurance instead of your parents, you will save about the same as you would putting your parents on

24 y/o with 2 year NCB. I pay monthly but it was a total of £2,500 or something ridiculous like that on a £1,000 2003 MK4 GTi. Now looking for a W220 S for my 25th and getting quoted £2,500 still... even at 25...

My first insurance was on an 2008 318d two years ago that was about €2,000 so about £1,800 when I was 21.

My BMW 1 series SPORT reg 65 2L, cost me 1.6k, insured it 3 weeks into the future lol

I work in insurance, on the day insurance is most expensive because it suggests that the driver in unorganised and hence more likely to have an accident

Zubair Hoque Hi mate. I finally made the purchase. I decided on the GLA45 over the CLA45. The main reason for this was due to small amount of headroom in the CLA and the GLA having a slightly more forgiving ride, and also the boot space.

happened to me twice mate, insurance know your desperate for insurance if you buy it on the same day. what i did on my recent car was go on comparison website and put the start date on the day i collect the car like what you said in your video, 3 days can make a massive difference. saved me £1.3k
