Natasha I have a question about the maths and statistics part I mean which topics are necessarily important to know and practice . Some folks say that you don't need to know too much maths and statistics you only need to know the basics of statistics and maths...on the other hand many creators making videos with the caption of statistics topics for data analyst & data science where they teach topics from mean median mode to chi test hypothesis test and so on Overall I am really very much confused about this thing, I am confused about which topics are really need to be covered for specifically data analyst job profile Please enlighten me 🙏

Yeah the problem with using chatgpt is if your company has rules against sharing company data. Even if you think you're making it "anonymous", you're still liable to be terminated for this. You still need to know what you are doing.

For math, the free khan academy is your friend. It helped immensely in my graduate course. It covers math from small kid level to graduate school.

⚠️This video is what I needed. Thank you for clearing my doubt regarding data analytics about what to learn nd how much to learn to land in a DA role. But I am confused regarding whether i should choose ui/ux field or data analytics coz I don't like coding that much but I don't know anything about design...field ....but i love to sketching. So I need to research upon it but internet has loads of videos.. but unlike this video(which has detailed and required explanation) which I needed, I want to know : 1) if I should choose DA or UI/UX coz design things interests me but coding don't interest me that much.... 2) Do only knowledge that u hv mentioned in. DAs don't code as much as other technical roles. But if you have a passion for UI/UX then I'd recommend pursuing that :)

I think it would be better if you joined a company that has data science job openings. Join them as a data analyst first, since it's going to be easier to get a job in analytics with your degree. Then try to make the transition to their data science team after working there for some time. That's what I did :)

A degree can improve your chances of getting hired but aren't always a prerequisite, I've worked with many self-taught analysts.
