This story resonates so deeply with me. Thank you for sharing your story. I am doing exactly what you said in this video. I don't have the funds, but I have strong faith. I got all the documents needed and even got my transcript to Wes because of the naija wahala of strikes and delays. Lol. Have begun writing professors by stating my expression of interest in particular courses. The research I've done, hmmm, I feel I need a mind detox and so does my laptop cos it's filled with all sorts of application materials. I know it will end in praise. I see my admission happen this Fall, amen!

Dr. Amuta, your videos are an inspiration, not just because they provide all this amazing information, but your demeanor and positive, down-to-earth attitude are alluring and engaging. I am 54 years old thinking to go back to school for a PhD in Psychology. This is not something that I just decided to do, I have been thinking about it since 2014. I had so many negative thoughts, age, money, all these fears had taking away my will to make this a reality. Until this year when I said "no more, I'm doing this". I don't have 6 schools in mind, just one, so I'm preparing my application as we speak. Your videos are helping me to keep my spirit up towards this goal. I just wanted to say Thank you!
