1.You have highest chances of finding a job close to you university, and in the area you graduate. The reason being your university name is popular in the area and local companies prefer local people over out of state folks. 2. Employers at that time were skeptical of interviewing out of state people because sometimes they would refuse to go after getting an offer. 3. I personally wanted to stay in Michigan at that time.
