In this video, I tell the hectic story of how I found my apartment in New York City during the summer of 2022. I currently live in my dream apartment in the Murray Hill neighborhood in NYC. It is a 1 bedroom plus flex room. The address is 330 E 38th St. This explains the process I went through to lease the apartment in my luxury condominium building, the Corinthian.

Congrats on the apt find! I like Murray Hill since it's not a touristy area and for the most part residential (though 3rd ave can be a bit loud with all the bars there.)

Thanks! Yeah Murray Hill has been perfect for me so far. A very central location for my life (work, friends, restaurants). Best place for me to be.

If you’ve already found a 1br in Manhattan for 2k you found the best deal possible. If you haven’t yet, then that’s not a reasonable budget for a 1br haha. I currently work from home a lot, but I still think it’s worth it to live in the city. There’s no place I’d rather be.

The fact that you’re here makes you a much more attractive candidate for other jobs down the road. The people you meet here are all successful and doing big things. I think if you get a job in certain industries in NYC it gives you credibility.
