@Kieran Brown Nature Vids it's not, the main reason being that the pope never had and will never have the legal authority to crown a Roman emperor/empress. The only people who could legally crown an emperor or empress were either the Senate or the military. Also the HRE was mostly German, which unlike Greek(the parent culture of Latin) is an entirely different ethnic and cultural group. Trust me dude I'm a descendant of The Empress Matilda from the HRE and not even I like the HRE. Truth be told it was also a political mess, and just looking at it's map is enough to make most historians and geographers throw up in disgust.

You can restore Byzantium, but not using this strategy, if your dlc is battle for the Bosphorus. If not this strategy works.

Cant wait for this to be recreated in Battle for the Bosphorus DLC

That's just the name of the alliance. Greece is renamed Byzantine Empire during the playthrough after taking the required territory for the achievement.

HRE, is like a delicate flower, with lot of beauty inside.I understand- maybe she realy wasn't heir of Rome, and maybe she died broken and weak, but she survive thousand years, hundrets of wars and conflict, spread and preserved legacy of roman empire and, after all...
