I had a blast fishing with 2 and 3 jig setups the other day. I tie up a few leaders ahead of time on 10 or 12 lb mono using a section of pool noodle to wrap the leaders on and burry the hooks in. I also put clasps on the mainline and have a loop on the leaders. Quick and easy switching it up. Once the bite slows down, I switch to another leader to change it up and keep the bite going. So I can go from bobby garlands to hair jigs and back taking only seconds.

I think it's less snaggy then a crank bait with 2 or 3 treble hooks. But if it's snaggy keep it off bottom. If it's weedy you can always use jigs with weed guards or just not throw your jigs into weeds but next to them
