I do think rank inflation is a thing, but to say he's boosted is a little ridiculous considering support is mostly game sense and Flats knows the game inside out.

Something is scuffed about this ranking system between season 3 and 4 I went from gold 2 to plat 2 first rank update in season 4 took me from plat 2 to diamond 2. In quick play all I play against are Masters/GM players so I really have no idea where I'm supposed to be. Some days in QP I do really well against those GM players other days I can't do shit and get rolled 8 games in a row.

So absurd that Flats reached Masters 1 and all of sudden "Oh well, I guess we can't play together"

I think it's absurd that BECAUSE of that bs, the rest of us are stuck in metal ranks bc we get smurfs in our games which don't belong there. Nothing quite like going 4-0 then getting a smurf on game 5 opposing us and ranking DOWN

It is kind of crazy how hard people cope, and not understand on a fundamental level how mmr works

I think it was last season or season 2 I would go on win streaks or have good win rate and would go from silver 5 to silver 5. This happened at least 4 times consecutively even though I was winning games left and right

The ranked system is still f*cking broken lmao. I went 5-11 on support(I lost a good chunk of times because of a skill issue by me) and I went from _plat 4 to plat 2 like wtf that is not how it's supposed to work_

I played this EXACT MAP yesterday with a lifeweaver. You know what that fucker did? He pulled me into conflict so he could run away. The dva targeted me (I'm either extremely lucky or extremely good, but I'm assuming the former) and I had to defeat her myself. I managed it but God damn did it piss me off.

Just placed bronze 1 in support despite being a plat player in everything else

Did all the good tanks climb out of silver? Last season I barely had any tank diffs and this season it’s either a fat diff or they’re playing too aggressive and won’t wait for heals. And GOD FORBID I actually get TWO GOOD DPS. Whatever they said about the roles being matched with the other team has to be a lie. I’d get an underperforming dps every other game.

Bronze 5 bug is for real? I just assumed. One of my friends is hard stuck in b5 she went 10-3 and was still in bronze 5. Rage quit today :(

That was the most undeserving rank up ive ever seen, he didnt even do much to impact his team and just goes up 6 levels instantly.

Overwatch ranked doesn't care about performance, the system only looks at W/L rate, as stated by the devs.

I play open queue comp because I wouldn’t be able to play with my friends if I did role queue and…. One day last week I went from plat 1 to #81 in top 500. The rank ups are crazy sometimes! (I have since decayed and went on a losing streak :3 )

Is it really that easy to get boosted? I only solo queue in comp and can tell i’m gonna be hard stuck silver for a while until I can consistently get good tanks on my team.

I found out that if your a gold 5 and you have friends that are silver and below you can’t choose that role until they get higher, I find that quite interesting :^ (Gold 1 for tank and gold 5 for support, I haven’t touched DPs yet for Comp, Oh boy 0-0)
