Shivin sir has said right about these that it can at max help in 5-10 marks rest all comes from your static + C.A multiple revisions. Just don't think about it prepare well for mains , You know the example of Ishita Kishore ma'am AIR 1 right ? I'm scoring 115 -110, reason being, I have already written mains of State pcs, and I was simultaneously targeting state pcs and was giving every single exam, like CDS, CAPF, and AFCAT, (cleared written of all). Bcz of this 1, Exercise one question got correct. 2. Equivalent rank question got correct 3. Operation sadhbhavna question got correct Directly 6 marks lead. Giving multiple exams not only helped me to encounter variety of questions and diversifying my knowledge base but has also made me comfortable in dealing with the pressure of examination hall and time management. Also, before attempting these papers I would revise entire syllabus atleast once, by the time I appeared for CSE I had revised entire static syllabus for about 5 times. As CSE will be conducted after a year , often I used to get lethargic during preparation so these exams I mentioned above kept me in track while ensuring ensuring my revision. Only AFCAT exam is not conducted by upsc however, it helps for quants,and reasoning. CDS- paper 2 helps in RC.

I wrote 2023 mains...I cleared so call3d toughest prelims but this time am getting less than 80....ppl are saying pre was easy but most of my frnds who wrote mains previous year are not crossing 80... Questions are so deceptive we couldn't differentiate deceptive qs and easy ones.....so don't worry definitely thr will be an way.....most of the toppers has gone through this cycle....

Because this time the paper was very static. Compared to upsc previous year questions this extent of static portion was not seen. So if static portion comes you either mark it right or wrong there is no middle ground. Plus most of the questions came from priority areas like mapping,buddhism, climatology which most of the serious aspirants would cover. So ig this year was not for us😢😢

Same happened with me too... Because of over thinking I attempted at least 10 questions wrong... For ex- I thought grain storage should be in secondary sector... In red Sea question I knew that no big river drains into it but I though may be any small River drains into it so I marked only 1 true.. In 1935 act I overthinked about princely states and marked statement 1 wrong... Same with in flying fox question- here I thought that in new WPA across there is no vermin category... In one economy question where it asked about capital good or something else - I misread weaving yarn as some weaving equipment and marked incorrectly.. Many more such silly mistakes I've done in exam.... But because of more attempt (I've attempted 97 questions in gs 1 ) I'm still getting at least 100 marks but This could easily be 120+ if I had not committed such silly mistakes

This year in CSAT maths and LR was easy but Comprehension was on tough side that's where I got trapped, I went with the mindset to do all comprehension questions and ended leaving many maths and LR questions which could have been done in less than a minute. This is how I failed prelims 2024.

Ki kaash yeh mark nhi kiya hota, kash yeh kar diya hota ....par khair ab toh doob gaye.... just failure processing hone mein time lag rha🙎🏻‍♀️. Don't get dishurted sister, don't know you follow sports or not, but competitive exams are exactly like sport. Even the best players play those shot and get out in knockout matches, when they would never play in whole career. In this years cricket world cup, indian team were unbearable throughout tournament, not just defeated but brutally crushed all the opponent. But in final, on there own ground, all the batsman made sooo silly mistakes which even a school level cricketers don't do , and get eliminated. This is nature of sports and competition and also this is the beauty of it. I would not say it would be easy but try to be mentally ready for it and don't question on your capability, potential or efforts. If you're in race of this exam it itself tells about your efforts a lot. 😊😊

Stay strong queen your prelims marks can never define your credibility.....it will be defined by your actions and the hardwork you had put in.....I am thinking to skip this prelims on exam day morning due to lack of revisions but getting very high marks afterwards and crying in front of God. Even i made terrible mistakes, marked c ramgopaal instead of sachchidanand sinha, durga pooja instead of garba, made parts of Constitution question wrong thinking that all 3 statements are factual so one would be wrong, even while knowing the answer i suspected on my knowledge. E rupee question i Overthink and thought it's different from cbdc and wouldn't be convertible im cash, because initially e rupee concept was like it can be used to buy only specific items.. Venezuela i marked doing rapid recovery, while knowing there's crices going on there, just because some elimination trick triggered in mind at that moment. There are lot more, at least 10-12 question which i did incorrect and were known to me. 12 question means 30 marks. Now I am stuck at 80s and on 50:50 chance. But can't do anything now, can't revert the wheel of time. I hope my case will help you and others going through similar pain as me.

Sir , E rupee -- freely convertible against cash... this exact statement is given on rbi website. Upsc exactly copied it.. secondly , ias parliament Shankar ias magazine October 2022 edition covered e- rupee in detail.. all the statements like liability on bank balance sheet , freely convertible to cash, all this is covered in Shankar ias magazine... Lekin muje samaj nahi aa raha ki yeh vision magazine walo ne e-rupee topic kyu nahi cover Kiya?? E rupee was in news in 2022 .

E rupee us time ye tha ki kuchh programmed coupons layenge, jo benefit transfer me use krenge. Like school kids ko shoes ke paise dene hai, to unhe aise coupens denge jo sirf shoes ki shop par hi redeem ho ske. Isase ye fayda hota ki us paise se vo kuchh aur like alcohol/drugs me use na kre. Ise unhone e rupee ka naam diya tha aur vo freely convertible ni tha. But ab shayad government/rbi ne ye plan drop kr diya aur cbdc ko e rupee ka naam de diya. Mujhe is baat ka bhi idea tha ki e rupee concept ko leke government aage ni badhi, to shyad cbdt ko hi ye e rupee bol rhe, but exam time and Overthinking me answered this question wrong. Same with me, i have marked wrong some of the easiest question... But same time I have marked toughest question correctly.... My side is i have marked 70+ questions in both the papers... In which 30. And 34 correct respectively means out of 180 questions I have attended more then 164 questions in which 64to 68 are correct... Remaining are wrong means -ve marking... 3 question wrong means one positive question is nullified... So according to that my 93 questions are wrong and 31 correct answer gone...

Digital rupee is CBDC only. Tough luck prepare well for next year.At the end it is just only an exam.

Ma'am don't worry. In UPSC prelims they check various aspects of your aptitude like patience, presence of mind , strength, analytical skills etc. The mistakes you have done is a quite common. Many of the aspirants fail in this exam as they do not improve their basic skills. Secondly this examination is not the final answer of your life. A bad perception created among students that this exam is the last resort. But you can excel in other prestigious exams and become towering personalities and serve the country better ways.

At question 37….you interpreted wrong….it says agar zamindar fixed date se “pehle ya ussi fixed date tak” rent pay nahi karta toh usko nikal denge.
