TTRS and S4 were also on my list of potential next cars since they werent difficult to find CPO. However I had second thoughts about a used performance car. I really liked the S3 the first time I saw it but no manual was a deal breaker. When the Golf R got announced in 6 speed I knew that was the car I wanted. Waited almost 6 months before a manual finally came in near me and even though it wasnt the color or trim I wanted (wanted black/base) I have absolutely no regrets about getting the white pearl and who could complain about DCC/NAV??

Nice. I too bought a Lo line 16 new golf r and found mine at inver grove. I have 26 on move now and no problems. No one can tell me: does the dcc car drive differently than the Lo line? I mean... when you put yours and mine in sport mode... would it handle as well as the hi line car with dcc?

The stock non-DCC R suspension is equivalent to somewhere between normal and race on DCC suspension

But race mode should be identical between the Lo-line and hi-line, wouldn't you think?

Ha? No. I said that I paid msrp. I noticed that you were at invoice plus 500. I had a Vw corp buy back and had to trade msrp for msrp.. it's the lemon law statute. They give you msrp credit regardless of purchase price but you have to pay or trade in msrp. You did well. Sorry. I was just sharing and got excited when I saw the Minnesota golf r dealer experience.
