When you need content, a lot of us love watching “wash days”. I don’t know what it is about watching someone soap their locs up but I’ll always watch that.
I'm glad you stuck it out. You helped me out so much in my first year. And I still apply what you showed me. And people love them

This video was very helpful, not just for the loc journey but the creative journey as well. I feel like as a creative we put so much pressure on ourselves to constantly produce new and different content. It's definitely a constant battle so its good to take a break from time to time to get your head right. I've had my locs for a year and 6 months now. I've dyed them a dark red 2 months ago and love it. Your videos have always been helpful to me 💯. Much love and continue to do your thing.

Almost third years in on my locks journey and I just recently bleached and died the tips of my locks bright red. Even if it's not a mistake it did turned out the way I wanted, but I'm thankful it didn't change much the texture of my hair
About 1 and half year in, my barber in the begin f up some of my locs from the back and side and I wanted to shave all my loc and start over but I got a retwist and said nah, let's see how it going to be......your journey is your journey and just focus on you

I had my locs for years and for 10 years I just had red locs, then I had my blonde phase (got the box) and was loving it. But the mind I seen a hint of black..I went to dye it again. I was doing it too often until my style said my hair was starting to thin…so I stopped. Then over the pandemic I got bored and started to add pieces to my already long locs..it was heavy when I washed it but I loved it..until I got to my stylist and she told me my roots was starting to thin…since I did too go of a job added the extensions with a crochet needle I couldn’t tell where my real locs were…I to,d her to cut off some length…I came home and just cut off more into a bob…I was sad but I really didn’t want to have my roots thin…long story short… I combined my locs and started to use natural products to build back up strength to my locs..I stop over twisting and take hair growth vitamins which works.. I’m happy with locs and will leave it be so it could grow back long again.
just saying to the new subscribers there is a playlist of his journey and can grasp alot of knowledge thru his experiences in that “real time “
I suffered with the same scalp problem I used every product I could think of to help but nothing worked for me and I found that my Seborrheic dermatitis was caused by over active sebum that showed up on my scalp and even after I washed my hair but it’s crazy how this happened every time I started growing locs it was definitely trial and error to find a solution to my problem

Have you tried the As I Am Dry & Itchy line for your dermititis? I have/had the same issue & that stuff saved my hair. I used the whole line every week until I got rid of my flakes & now I mostly use the oil regularly. I still wash my hair with the shampoo & conditioner & use the leave in every other week but I'm practically flake free. It's moisturizing & made for type 3-4 hair so it may work for you as well

@@TPlocks lmk if you do! I bought the whole set from Amazon for around $40 but I've seen some items at Target. My scalp looked like yours in the clip your showed & oiling my scalp made the flakes worse.... You can probably tell from my profile pic, but I’m a natural red head. The tips of my locs went Odell naturally lol. I’m a little over 3 years into my journey and I was thinking about starting another set of locs after knowing what I know now. BUT I just can’t see myself without locs now 😩😩😂

I treat my locs almost like a bonsai lol
lmao when i wen to get mine dyed i wanted a red. my hairs dark brown so i had to bleach it to orange/blonde first and then to red. the red faded after a couple years and i was left with a nice orange/gold color that was better than the red imo
I want those locks at 7:29
Thanks for that video! Im two months in and I have the issue that mine started marrying and some got pulled up and started locking in that more shrinked state if that makes sense. I feel my hair locks very very fast. Not sure if I should try to comb the short ones out and restart them? Or go with it?
Quick question brother, for how long have you had your locks?
hey man can you do video on loc spliting? i kinda feel like my locs are getting to thick and wanted to know your opinion about it befor i do something dumb
i just got my starter locs yester day and they are two strand twists, and i had a lot of hair before getting them and i was wondering will i be able to get all of my locs to start from the top of my head and come down? because right now the way they are done they are twisted in little patches all around my head but i want them to come down from the top of my head. I just wanted to know if it will be possible or if i need to restart and have them grow from the top of my head
Hey bro; if I want to get lochs like yours how do I tell the lochtician the right words? I want the same thickness as yours bro
