Ойындар
In this devlog, I redo the main user interface elements and add new properties to the edit menu, which allows for more building options.

This is a 2D physics-based puzzle game I'm developing with Unity. You are tasked with building siege engines to transport the ragdoll foot soldier across enemy territory. Fed up with his siege engine genius being ignored due to his low status in feudal society, our protagonist has decided to single-handedly take over kingdoms and stuff.
To play, drag objects from an inventory into the scene and connect them together. Press play to watch chaos ensue. Create catapults, trebuchets, vehicles, and much more!

The intro could be the opening scene for the game, as the guy gets launched in the air, and the cam follows them to the menu screen

That would've been a good idea.
Haha, that spring launcher was awesome! Nice work! Love the name, and I also didn't realize Unity had a way of taking graphics from Illustrator. I'll have to check it out!

Thanks! It's a new feature (still in preview), but I'm so excited they're working on it
Another great devlog mate! I like your choice of using vector graphics seeing as how important it will be to be able to zoom in this game. Looking forward to the next one :)

Thanks! Yeah, I'm so glad Unity's adding that feature, it makes "vector graphic" style graphics look so much cleaner. It does make some things more difficult, for example I still haven't figured out how to tile the ground pattern because it's no longer a texture.

Thank you I will!
You could have the menu with all the items at the bottom, maybe that balances the 'feel'.. Well done though! Good Job!

Thank you! And good idea, I might just have to do that! The only issue I had when testing it there is that the transparent UI behind the brown ground doesn't look super great

@@SamHogan That's true... UI is difficult, many people underestimate it... eh, i'm sure you'll figure it out, maybe the perfect UI layout will suddenly hit you in the shower ;)

@@warreadriaensen9758 I hope so! Yeah, I don't know much about graphic design, I just try stuff until something looks sorta good
How did you made the blur effect on the panels and buttons?
Sam, I'm a small indie dev trying to create a physics based game. Do you have any tips like the wheel system, etc?
Nice game
heck yea

Thanks for watching!
I love the UI. Why don't you make a UI asset for other people to use? (like me)
