@@aeronabril4737 my best advice is think of random things to draw and just let your brain flow without using references. References help influence your brain and can affect the way you draw something. Also if there's any little characters you draw often you could include them in your peices which many artists do. Try to sketch everyday or as often as possible rather than trying to make finished pieces every time. Hope this helps 😁

@@adrianuriostegui8727 Probably that feel is due his art style. I mean he shows how he is, natural and funny so his work is just that reflection. I'm sure you have your own style but you need time and hardwork to make it grow. Just confidence, work and don't try to be another person, just yourself.

Dude, thanks a lot for this video, there is a lot you don't learn in design school, and videos like this are great help!
This was such a helpful video! I've been thinking about starting a small clothing brand to rake in a little cash and this answered almost all of the questions I had. The only other question I had was whether or not it is financially a good idea to send the designs to a screen printing company when I first start making shirts, or if I should just start screen printing my own. I'd love to hear back from you and get some ideas on how I should go about starting this venture.
I've been LOOKING for an artist to just make a quick tutorial on how to create a t-shirt friendly design with art, and this super helps! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your process!
I've always had trouble taking pictures of art to make digitally. Just seeing what you do there was crazy helpful. Thank you sir!
Excellent art work. This tutorial is awesome, thank you for sharing this with us.
Your work is awesome and inspiring! I have t-shirt designs that I want get printed and sell . This tutorial is very informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
I suggest using levels on another layer and simply masking the portion you don’t want effected. You can basically do all your edits without touching the original.
THE PAINTING PROCESS WAS SOOO COOL UGHHHH WOWWW
Your art style is so unique. I love it!
You are extremely talented. I am always discouraged by other artists sometimes but then everyone has their own special and unique ability and way of drawing. Some are better than others. So I hope my passion for doing this will succeed.
Just to help make your life a bit easier. When you select a part of your piece in photoshop and cut it out you can use the option to 'paste in place'. I know the pc shortcut is ctrl+shift+v. Not sure what the mac option is off the top of my head but the drop down menu is 'edit/paste special/ paste in place. This way you don't have to double check if the part is lined up because photoshop put it right back where it cut out.
@katlandreth6430

It's Shift + Command + V on a mac. You can also do Shift + Command (or Ctrl) + J to cut and paste onto a new layer with one command.

I know this video is a bit old by now so you may know this already, but if you use the crop tool in Photoshop and hold ctrl while you click and drag, you can drag out a line along the angle of the top of your paper and the tool will automatically straighten your image for you. Figuring that out was a huge time-saver for me. Nice Work!

This is so sweet and detailed! I'm learning so much from this video. Thought I would share one tip: If you hit Shift + Cmd + V it will paste the selection in place (around 9:52) so you don't have to line them up. You could also just use Shift + Cmd + J to cut and paste a new in-place layer from the selection with one command.

Def falling in love with this channel
I JUST found this KZread and I'm diggin' the vibe. I love seeing other artists process vids, thank you for sharing! I have a tip on the sketching process: Draw it out, scan it, and change the pencil lines to a non-photo blue. Print it out with the blue line work on heavier paper. THEN ink it on that blue ink print out. I agree that a direct hand-drawn piece looks much more alive. Once you dig that ink look, scan it again and drop out that blue in Photoshop. I know that final resellable artwork is a great addition to your flow, but should you get the need for a switch up this is a great option. This way enables you to play with your final inked look w/o sacrificing the final piece.
OH wow, I do flying trapeze and I need to get a pair of your leggings!!!! :D
