Maybe instead of hot glue you could you maybe use florists tape to cover the exposed metal on the plants. Just an idea. I am not sure if it's a good idea but I am thinking since florists tape is supposed to be waterproof maybe it would stay better...hot glue should stay. So idk I just watch a lot of videos and I was watching cake decorating videos and they use florists tape sometimes. As long as there are no exposed tape parts that the gecko could stick to...it might work.

Thats a good idea, i will look into it and see if there is any locally that's safe to use. Only thing is with misting hopefully it wont fall off after a while due to being damp😊

How long should I let the hot glue in the plants dry? I have those types of plants. I have one that is rusty that I have removed from the tank. I am going to be trying different brands of plants to test how good they are.

@@levi-wd7gw if its just got a rusted tip piece like mine in the video then it can be saved as long as you use something to cover the metal, if you have a vine type like also shown and its split open and rusted, then i'd toss it

My 7 month old crestie is 30 grams is she too big? I hand feed her every day and I have 4 different cgd packets of all different flavors. I guve her insects every 3 days but I will stArt to cut back

At 7 months i'd be feeding every ither day to every 2 days depending on how much you're feeding, 30 grams is pretty big for that age, though some grow at different rates than others, does she appear to be fat(like have roles?) Otherwise she should be fine but i wouldnt feed every day at that age😊

@@SRCReptiles ok I’m not sure it’s rolls buts on the side of her belly it’s looks like loose skin if you touch it or sort of pull it up a bit. I will start feeding her every other day from now on and get the insect feedings less often thank you for your advise

@@lilianasanimalzoo2821 sounds like it could possibly be the start of fat rolls, either way by a year old i'd suggest feeding every 2 days to avoid her getting to big too fast😊

Normally i suggest deep cleaning like this every 2 months or so, sometimes sooner depending on how messy your gecko is. Most i'd wait is 3 months and by then it'll be needing it most likelyfor geckos under a year i normally clean their tank once every week to 2 weeks
