    As a guy working in a water treatment plant, this guy isn't completely wrong here. We could remove them but it would raise your taxes significantly to the point where water becomes a commodity. I suggest everyone instals a nano-filtration membrane in their home, they are essentially identical to an reverse osmosis (RO) filter, the only difference is that it allows some good minerals like calcium, magnesium and sodium. Strictly drinking RO water will, over a long period of time, dilute your internal Ion concentration resulting in a cascade of illness and ailments. This is why mineral water is so sought after, because it hydrates you while maintaining an internal Ion balance. I also suggest a Brita filter to remove the chlorine and many other volatiles added during the treatment process, but this is incredibly determinate of the specific type of treatment facility on the other end of your pipe, as some dont even use chlorine like where I live.

    Homie, you realise that the biggest determinant of your estrogen level is your testosterone level right? The male body doesn't directly make estrogen, it aromatises testosterone into estrogen so the higher your test the higher your estrogen. On top of that, high estrogen is not bad in men. Estrogen has neuroprotective and cardioprotective qualities, it helps boost your sex drive, improves your joint and skin health, etc. If you really think estrogen is that bad for you try taking aromsin for a few weeks, it'll nuke your estrogen to near zero, then let me know what it's like for every joint to hurt and for your dick not to get hard anymore and for your sex drive to go to shit This is why you don't take health advice from people with no formal training or professional knowledge...

  • @davidpaul7306

    Having zero estrogen is bad but having a high level isnt good either .He never said you should have zero

  • @Paultarco

    @Paultarco

    10 ай бұрын

    @davidpaul7306 You will never get to a truly high level without doing stuff like taking it directly or taking testosterone directly. And even then, I hate to break it to you, but other than the possibility of gyno, high estrogen will actually be pretty great for your health. Estrogen is part of the reason women tend to live longer and why they tend to have far better bloodwork than men in terms of stuff like cholesterol. Conversely, extremely high testosterone will be bad for your health more often than not. It will fuck up your cholesterol ratios, thicken your blood putting pressure on your heart and raise your blood pressure among other things. But again, that's not something to be worried about unless you plan on taxing exogenous testosterone to raise your levels into the stratosphere. My problem is that he's acting as if high estrogen is somehow bad or makes you more feminine, when, in reality, the men with the highest estrogen are also the ones with the highest testosterone and estrogen itself is pretty essential to your health.

    Thank you for your well-thought-out comment. I was wondering if at any point he'd mention it's really about the ratio, not the actual quantity. However, you've completely left out the idea of exogenous intake through contaminated water. That would have an impact on the ratio, which still reflects his beliefs, despite the fact that the scientific reasoning is incorrect. What is your opinion on that, or do you believe that the estrogenic content of tap water has no effect on a man's T/E?

  • @Paultarco

    @Paultarco

    10 ай бұрын

    @averageillegalmemesdealer yes of course the ratio is important but I think it's important to keep things in perspective. The average man has about 300ng of estrogen on their body on average. The worst observed levels of estrogen in tap water were in Eastern Europe at 10ng/L. Taking the upper end of oral bioavailability of estrogen at 10%, if you drink 2 litres of the worst tap water a day and your body is maximally efficient at metabolising the estrogen, then you'd increase your total estrogen by about 2ng. So the worst case scenario is increasing your estrogen by like 0.7%, that is the sort of difference you'd get between checking your estrogen at 9:00 am and 9:15 am. Realistically, in a wealthy developed country that would be closer to 0.07%. Nowhere near clinically relevant in any way

    If its table water, that is basically tap water filled in a bottle. Only alternative is mineral water from glass bottles. But its expensive and takes work to buy it everytime and carry home, so long term the reverse osmosis system is cheaper I think.

    Water from plastic bottles is as bad as tap water lol. You need to drink water from the village water well or from the mountain. If you don’t have access to any of those then you need to buy that filter that Hamza mentioned and filter tap or bottled water.

    Definitely from the tap, at least there isnt microplastics in that and can be put into glass or metal to drink from... yes, it'll have estrogen in it but only a very small amount whilst plastic bottles fill your water with so much plastic and you're touching it as well so it's the worst thing for you
