I love my ponytail palm. But it is an underrated plant. It was £2.50 and I've had it for years and it's got a cool trunk which makes me love it. It looked like a small onion when I got it. I look at it every day and think yeah you are a great plant I love this kind of video Hope you had a good holiday Have fun

I didn't know or didn't think about gro lights burning the leaves! thank-you so much for mentioning that! I recently got grow lights after having to finally admit there isn't enough light in my room for all of my plants. I will be keeping a careful eye on them now.

The Euphorbia? The one with the glued rocks, will grow if you give it more light! It seems to be behind other plants on a rather dark shelf. 🍀❤️ Love the tour, it gives so much ideas and love to see other people's plants!

I have a PPP that started throwing all pink. I chopped her back and the mother is back to nicely variegated leaves, but the cutting put out 6 pink leaves before I chopped that section off. That’s what your albo reminded me of.

I, too, struggle with peperomia. They rot on me. I put the survivors in Noot Rescue Mix and they are doing SO much better. I just got some watermelon clippings from a neighbor and I’m about to try them in Rescue mix.

I swear, all of the sponsors you get are so well suited for me and I actually really enjoy it! I’m sure doing sponsors can be stressful and hard, but thank you for doing it the way you do! Also yay so excited for a plant tour!!!

I impulsively moved my greenhouse cabinet downstairs yesterday and have to rearrange all my plants so perfect timing for your video 🙃 I’m a mom to one toddler and having the energy to even get on social media at all is a challenge, so I’m always amazed by how much you do. I have heard that pepperomia plants love to be I'm terracotta pots. I believe it was Amanda from planterina that said that in a video. Happy plant keeping everyone 💦🌱

As to why you like a mixed plant look. I too live near Cactus &Tropicals and if they know anything, and they do😜am I right? Anyway they put together such beautiful arrangements. We end up probably subconsciously attracted to arrangements. Yep, my husband actually calls C & T my dealer

I love my pony tail palm! It has really long crazy “hair”! But, my cat also loves it so it has to be at the top of shelving so she doesn’t eat it 🥴 My pepperomia’s in my greenhouse grow so well and I can propagate them really well in there too. But any other peps that are out of the greenhouse, get very sparse… 🫤 I have gradually been adding my outside greenhouse peps into the greenhouse.

My watermelon peperomia looks like that as well! I've recently found out the split leaves are from a calcium deficiency. I use a great fertiliser, but have added a cal/mag solution to see if that helps.

You could try using daylight bulbs in your light fixtures because the light is still within a useable spectrum for the plants and you don’t have to have that pink or purple toned lighting or ugly clips/stands/arms to grow light fixtures. Pleasant to the eye and can help with SAD in the darker months

I appreciate you sharing all you share! I have a question... Do plants need more than just a grow light for lighting? Trying to figure out a winter balance so they don't die off. Thanks

that watermelon pep needs more humidity. i put mine in one of those plant spa boxes you taught us about and it went from looking like that to looking phenomenal. it lives in the spa now.
