I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about things like this. My neighbor and I both have stands/blinds close to our property lines. We communicate with each other, and if he’s hunting that location, I don’t hunt there, and vice-versa. It’s always worked out for both of us. He’s got a disabled friend that hunts a blind right on my property line, and I wouldn’t dare hunt my stand there when he’s hunting his blind just out of respect. It looks like neither one of you have respect for the other.

You're right. Especially when the neighbor chews your kid out for shooting a small buck (first deer ever) Then calls to chew you out for shooting does. So, the door does swing both ways with this neighbor.

I think a lot of people have missed the boat on this. Ryan has the right to do what ever he wants on his side of the fence just like his neighbor can put a stand anywhere he wants on his land. Maybe some of you should think a little more before condemning something someone else does. Just because you might not agree with what he did doesn't make it wrong. God bless.

I would do the same with a stand facing my property line. Appears a lot of people believe you are the issue. Unreal. Nice video Ryan and God bless

Great video Ryan! It's a natural, safe, effective and legal way to discourage deer from moving within bow range of the neighbors on the other side of the fence line.

Can't prevent Deer movement without an eight foot or higher fence, if even legal in your area. Sounds like some are just upset at others for hunting "the wind" on their property.

This neighbor is knowingly shooting over the line. We've observed it time and time again. Width of the hinge cut screen is more effective than any fence, since deer are like cows with limited depth perception

Deer Habitat Improvement is not an Excuse to Harass the Neighbor. I shoot a lot of Corn fed Deer. Thanks' to Wanna Be's hunting over Corn Feeders on Adjacent Properties. Where I hunt. I have Creeps like You. Telling Me I can't hunt a Deer Run on my Side of the Fence. Trying to tell Me I can't Drive in to Hunt because his Corn Feeder is 10 Yards from the road I drive in on. Telling me I have to Move My Stand which is 30 yards from the Fence and been there for Decades. Because It's causing Problems for Him Hunting the Corn Feeder 10 yds. from the Fence. 40 Yds. from My Stand 40 yds. away. If, You put Food next to the Fence. Thanks. I like Corn fed Deer. My Lure Station is by far more Effective than Your Food Plot. Ima Add. Before You mess with the Hunter in Question. You might want to know what Their Relationship is like with the Landowner of the Property You have Permission to Hunt. Don't lose Your Lease by messing with the Neighbor.

Reminds me of a guy I went to school with, everything on his property or anything that crossed was "his". His deer, his turkey, etc... lol

Yup. This neighbor cut trees down on our side of the fence line out along my brother's open field to prevent us from sitting the line, all while having a tower stand and ladder stand just one foot on their side of the line. They even put up a 1000 yard rifle target on our property (500 yards onto our property) several years ago. Yet we don't dare get caught looking across the line fence. Wow!

@shaneshonda yes. But setting the record straight for those of you who want to presume I'm in the wrong. First know and UNDERSTAND the story instead of judging a book by its cover.

Once again Where is the Fence? I harvest nice deer every year and very seldom encounter another hunter. We hunt in the big woods. Northeast where the worlds best deer hunters live and thrive. Low deer density makes you a better hunter.

If it wasnt for sitting near a fence alot of properties arent huntable.its rude for you to act like you own the deer.hunting a property like you build and hunt is like shooting your dog and calling it hunting.

You one of them I own all the free range deer. It's his right to hunt on the fence let alone near it. There's probably been a stand in that area for years. In My Case, Decades. Then Someone that hunts the adjacent Property wants to tell Their Neighbor where to hunt on Their Property. Your kind gives the Comradery of Hunting a Bad Rep. If, You move the Fence Crossing. It's and easy adjustment. Like Ya'll ain't shooting across the fence. Stay out of the Public Areas. You're not going to get a good response telling People where to Hunt.

Your Deer Farm does not roll over onto the adjacent property. Those Deer are not Yours no matter what You feed Them. Fenceline crossings are a good place to set up. A Criss Cross. Up and down the Fence and across the Fence. Place Stand on that X. I don't think They are focused on shooting into that brush with a Bow. Even if They are. How far into that mess will present a shootable shot across the fence at the edge of bow range. Put Your Cams up and Catch Them across the Fence. You are aware that if You shoot one and it gets across the Fence. That You may also not be allowed to recover It do to your bad Choices. I'll go further concerning Assumption. Ya'll saw his Stand and saw it's in a Good Spot. Decided to try to take over that area to Hunt. Spouting accusations of Trespassing without proof is Hot Wind.
