How I Cut Corrugated Metal Like Butter with a Nibbler Tool 🔧

The Makita Nibbler (🧰 amzn.to/43zIXtN) is hands-down the best option for making clean and technical cuts. Cutting roof panels precisely is a challenge due to all of the peaks and valleys comprising sheet metal. I ran a number of tests using different tools in order to determine the best/safest way to make cuts in galvanized steel. Check out how this thing works!

Great video! Thanks for sharing this tool information and how to use it. Also, thank you for the other tool tips. In addition to the clamps and soap stone marker, I would recommend getting a construction magnet to pick up any bits of metal that might stray from the herd. You have a beautiful pup, would not want her paws marred with those stray metal bits that might get flung into the grass. Thank you, again! Your home is looking great! Have fun, take care and be safe! ☺🙏

Nice video and demo, project looks cool too. Do you know if this nibbler can cut thicker sheeting, when would it max out?

Thanks man. Num num num. Tin snips I found very hard, diamond disc in a small angle grinder is OK, but very noisy, and unpleasant to use.

5:35 Hi is the nibbler only good for straight cutting? Or can you shape with it?

Is the "Nibbler" the complete tool, or just a bit for an existing tool?

You can buy them as complete tools, or you can buy an adapter that goes onto your drill. The dedicated tools are a lot more expensive, but likely better quality and will last longer. But if you only have a few jobs to do, the drill adapter is the best bet.
