Tamara Bradshaw I have very fine hair and just got a similar cut. It gave me TONS more volume and I have received a multitude of compliments on not only the cut but how much younger I look! Turns out the long fine hair was dragging my face down. Give it a try! :)

Do you need a curling iron with hold in end to get that toe of curl.

Lady Bug She states in the video that it is a 11/2" curling iron. I have one and it is HUGE. A 2" one would be about as long as her index finger as something to measure it against.

Val Brooks get some shampoo for the brassyness. Should be a deep dark purple color. I habe hard water and have to use it once a week to keep the brassyness away.

Val Brooks Get Clairol's Shimmer Lights Shampoo and Conditioner! You can get it at your local Sally's Beauty Supply. It is a purple shampoo that takes out the brassy tones. You will get the feel of how often to use it!

This is a great video! I had been fumbling with a curling iron and after watching, and listening, to your video, I finally got it. I can't believe it took me so long. I tried NYM Sea Salt Spray and I have to say it's awful on my hair, plus the smell is overpowering.

I like your makeup

I like your hair even before you curled but after you put the spray in.

what temperature do you have the curling iron on? I always get kinks in my hair when I try this but my curling iron is a hot tools metal. it also snags :( Im gonna buy a conair!

It's on the hottest setting. I also like the loop holder thing that's on the tip of mine. Easy to grab and twist.

So you’re taking length of hair instead of width. Also, I assume you are letting up on the barrel clamp as you are pulling it down. This is a technique I’ve never seen before. I’ll have to try it.

My beautian told me never to use sea salt spray with a curling or flat iron, it breaks off your hair. You can use a spray for heat styling instead.
