Love this video! I'm a 34 year old single mom and a full-time government employee. I decided to relaunch a business I started when I was 20 years old and went back to college to finally get my degree. I can't believe I'm finally graduating after nearly 20 years lol. It's NEVER too late. When I turned 34, I vowed to stop caring what people thought about me and finally started living life ON MY TERMS.

Tap tap...is this me? I’m 34, a single mom and I work full time for the federal government. It didn’t take me until now to get my degree but BOY did I struggle with getting my bachelors and finally went on to finishing my masters. I WOULD LOVE to dedicate some time to my business . I’m unsure and worried it will fail. I’m a horrible risk taker I go with the guarantee and the guarantee will forever keep you broke. Sure I live decent and I thank God for it but I want financial freedom.

I always remembered this quote and it helps to keep me calm, cool, and collective-“those who anger you conquer you”. No one will conquer me, ever again

I live by this too. Am always calm and people look at me and think am rude or not grasping whats going on. 😂😂😂 when in reality am not letting them conquer me.

I'm 39 and I haven't cared whether people liked me since I was 12. It was revelation from very early on and I've lived my life with less stress than I see other people experiencing. I was always called different and different is not always a bad thing. Different is peaceful and quite a cool place to be. I have never consulted anyone about decisions I wanted to make. People can be so negative. It takes a very thick skin not to care but it's something that must be learned from very early on. I have been called ugly and I have been called beautiful. I have been called fat and I have been called too skinny. I don't absorb any of it because who asked them? Not me.

The likes and dislikes analogy also relates to Instagram as well. Post your pictures because YOU know you look good. It doesn't matter if you don't get enough likes or lose a following. The ones who don't stick around wasn't genuine to begin with so why shrink yourself for applauds. Wonderful video !

Yeah, I needed this video. I am 27 and I feel stuck terribly stuck in life. Which is sad because I really am not! I haven't even been able to indulge in things I like including KZread and videos just wind down time. Just stuck in my job and hours... I can't wait for my next step. I feel it coming!

Oh ladies I can relate to this all too well ! I’m not sure if you guys are able to see the difference from when I was working a stressful 9-to-5 job versus now. I felt like I was being drained but I also know it’s not easy to just pick up and leave a job that is basically sustaining you . I literally prayed long and hard to be freed.

I try not to care how people think about me, but it’s hard not to. People are mean and will make you feel bad about yourself, for no reason. I have depression and feel so behind in life. I just don’t have the motivation to do a lot of things at times. It’s draining. But watching these videos helps to motivate me and push me to keep going forward.

Thanks 🙏🏾 for this video. I struggled with being liked from teenage years until my late thirties or early forties. I’d been through bullying and rejection. Even in dating I’d been rejected too. Around various groups of people I knew as friends or acquaintances I was so worked up why certain people who didn’t know me were so horrible towards me. I wanted to fit in badly via social media and in person. Then a friend told me “not everyone is gonna like you. Be ok 👍 with that.” It’s so true. I moved on and eventually deleted social media. I accept that not every man will find me attractive. Not everyone wants me as a friend. Not everyone would invite me to their wedding or gatherings. I go where I’m appreciated

I needed this! I am 26 also and have been in the process of elevating my life. Sometimes I battle with the fact that not everyone will like me but I realize that it has helped me to weed out ppl who most likely weren’t meant to be apart of my journey anyway.

I remember Jackie Aina saying something like she would post a 20 min video and like the second she posted she'd have all these dislikes, needless to say there's people who will always dislike your videos for no reason at all, even before watching like that is their job in life haha pretty sad
