Yeah what you said about getting more confident the more time passes after you realize you're trans really reasonated with me. After four years of being out to select group of people, I've had to confidence just to casually say "hey please don't call me your guy or your gal pal even if you mean it in a jokey way?" to certain friends when years ago I would've just sucked it up because they used they/them pronouns for me & that already felt like asking too much. At the same time I feel bad for trans kids growing up with all these "DID YOU ASSUME MY GENDER?" jokes because it reinforces the feeling that a trans person asking people to use the correct language for them is somehow an outrageous demand or about making cis people feel bad instead of making trans people feel respected and good!

but like seriously what ur preferences are? ur atracted to women or men? why i ask cuz im also gona be a trans man soon but being a girl im into men. so its like kind of confusing. idk how it gona be after. tho im not going to get t shots..

I'm a cis woman but I still took away an important message from this video, be it about me or my friends. Thank you for doing these videos, they're very educational and they make it easier for people to empathize with whatever other people might be going through.

Thank you for sharing Harrison! It was interesting hearing how hockey was an accepting area of life for you. Personally as a transwoman, my experience has been rather the opposite. Growing up in a locker room with a ton of homophobic/transphobic culture has been really hard. Although things are getting better, i really hope we continue the progress that has been made!
