In May of 2020 I had the desire to farm for profit. I had no industry connections, no farming background... I did not even own any land!
3 years later, by God's grace, my farm business grossed a little under $100k within one calendar year. This is farm business only, not media income. This is a simple business model that anyone can follow... and it does not require thousands of dollars in expensive advertising.
In this video I outline the 3 year process of building and promoting my sheep farm business on 23 acres. I hope that a look at my thoughts and strategy help you do the same for yourself!

OH I LOVE THIS QUOTE I'm gonna put this one on my fridge!!
I haven't even listened to the whole video yet and I'm impressed because she honors God for her increase. Way to go, young lady! We must credit where credit is due. 😇
I love how u give God the glory for your success, Praise Jesus
Respect for not making this into a course to buy. Someday I plan on starting small part time then one day be able to support myself with my land and sheep
We're closing on 55 acres in Eastern Oklahoma. So excited to do this exact same thing. Starting from scratch too.
So i am getting out of the military in 14 months and have been really obsessed with starting a sheep farm in Tx. Your videos have literally helped me build my confidence that I can do this. Thank you so much for helping everyone and doing this yourself. You are truly an inspiring human and I hope one day I am like you.

canopy9396 start the BGBG program ASAP. Enroll now if possible. Overlap it with your ACAP, as they won't know about the BGBG as its listed as "for veterans" but it is not a VA sponsored program, so it's elected not selected. Battleground to Breaking Ground is the technical name for the program. Download and print off all of The Sheperedess' blueprints and outlines and take them to class. Between you and me, the class is garbage, just like everything the army picks up without a contract, but it will put you in a cohort with others and it brings the people who can help you, into one concentrated local. They'll help with literally every paperwork aspect of starting a farm in TX as a veteran.

Do it! I retired after 25 years and set up a 5 yr plan to start a farm without debt. I’m in year 3 and ahead of schedule. I’m so looking forward to stepping away from the city, working the 9-5 and moving out to our land and starting. Best of luck to you on your journey!
I felt the calling to be a good steward of land that wasn’t being used. I retired from the military in Oct 2016. As of today we custom graze over 400 cows in a cow/calf operation. God has done it all. I just showed up every day.

Our farm was purchased in 1914 and I am the 4 generation to farm it but it has been leased and ran down for many years. Thanks for the video. Now it is my turn to turn this place around and make it start making money
Anyone thinking of what they want to do in life. I suggest following this Shepard to learn more than most Universities teach in four years. Very specific and knowledgeable on what it takes to succeed. Her spirit is flowing and you do not need to make 100K. However your focus on what makes her talents shine is GOD based and we need more Shepherdess like her.
Hey shepherdess, shalom. I'm Dezmond from Nigeria, I'm just starting out as a Shepard and you keep inspiring me each day. I already ywi sheep, a nale and female. They're both a Nigerian breed called Uda, they are tall, dont make much wool but lots of meat. B'ezrat Hashem ill be increasing my flock next week probably to 10. Thankyou so much, and much love from Nigeria.
This info is pure gold... I have learned the hard way for many years and this gal has opens my eyes to how shallow minded I am , thank you lord ! For this sheperdess !
Ive been watching you for awhile now. You are an amazing young woman. It was a blessing to me to hear you give the Lord the Glory. I know you have only begun, the sky is the limit for you. M.
Proud of you, Little Sister, for your success, but mostly for your faithfulness! Blessings
It’s always great to see someone stick to a plan. Great job!
Been watching your videos for awhile. We bought 100+ acres in east texas last year and trying to figure out what we are going to do with it. You are amazing!
I'm glad I found your channel, sister. ♡
Thank you so much for all the videos. I've been studying and taking notes for the last week going through your channel and its been incredibly helpful. Starting our business later this year in central California. God's put it on our hearts to try to bring life, community, and common sense back to our broken state, please pray for California.

I have loads of respect for you and what you are doing and creating!!! You didn’t have to give out any information. To me, this is creating partnership, not competition. Which is such an amazing thing living in this world now.
I've been planing to start a small quail project but I've been doubting it could work, somehow this video inspired me to give it my best shot, and maybe I will one day start a sheep farming project. Congratulations on your success
Wow...my wife and I are looking at homesteading for a change of pace and slower lifestyle but the entrepreneur in me can't help but see all of the business opportunities in this space. This video is REALLY helpful, thanks!

You really inspired me to really dive into ranching im using sheep and goats. Trying to restore 63 acres.
Last year i started to build a farm from scratch. This year i purchased sheep. Currently getting set up for strip grazing. Staying focused on the task is the only way to truly succeed
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm still looking for Dorper sheep to put on 1.5 acres. I've really enjoyed your videos.
So happy and proud of you!!! Love your energy!
Going on a mission trip I imagine. Quality of your content is top notch, you’ve definitely got the formula.
I'm so jealous of your easy fence moving . I'm picking up netting and carving my way through briar thickets with loppers to reset netting. Oh the tangles, thorns and tears! I have goats and goat quality woodlands that I'm trying to tame in time.
Keep up the amazing work. Thank you so much for helping others follow your path and sharing your knowledge

This is a really huge encouragement! Thank you!
Just found your videos in the past week or so and have been watching a couple here and there. I'm finding them quite practical and helpful... I'm a single woman on 17.95 acres in Maine with a low mortgage, and would love to create a business that keeps me on the land instead of working at a tourist trap store in town. I can't do sheep, as my land is still too rough, but with your business plan in mind, I've been researching and trying to think of what I CAN do. It's been very encouraging, as for a long time I've been thinking "someday" and I finally feel like with your help I might be able to turn that into "soon." A topic I'd like to see you cover - taxes. As a person with no business background, the concept of learning how to pay self-employment taxes is extremely intimidating. Thanks for sharing your fascinating journey and for being clear in your testimony of gratitude toward God's provision. My guess on your break - getting married?

Congrats, girlfriend! I know your plan didn't include 2020, a drought, and all the other things that have popped up! You are awesome!
I seriously appreciate the insights to this and believe this can apply to farming in general. Ducks are somewhat similar now that I look back at the first year.
The best thing you sold was You! You did such a great job at branding your business.. bravo.. I have 53 acres and would love to have a few of these sheep.
Been watching since the beginning. Congradulations your an inspiration.

Super helpful, thank you for doing what you do!
Enjoyed the video! I'm based in Portugal and am currently breeding kunekune pigs and have funnily enough been looking at adding dorper sheep as my dad used to breed them years ago in South Africa.
I found this video by accident, but I’m glad I did. We don’t know each other but let me say, in all sincerity- I am proud of you for what you took on and having the determination to see it through. Makes me feel good for the future. May God bless you richly.
Great video, continued blessings and success!
Love watching your videos and looking forward to using many of your suggestions on my place. This episode does point out one item most people don’t talk about. $100,000 investment and a return of $30,000 means $100,000 or pretty close to that is invested first. Farming is very cash heavy investment. The challenge is to come up with the $100k will be the hinderance to most people.
congratulations on your important work. you are FABULOUS!
Wow, your perspective of “only God gives the increase “ doesn’t guarantee success but surely sets you up in the best position for it. God bless.
Thank you for what you do. Your videos have been very good as I'm about to get 30ac and where looking at cattle but now I'm looking at sheep

Excellent video!
This is impressive, I am starting this with a totally different, everything. Totally different local topography, totally different previous pre-AG work background, and I'm a 6ft 160LBS grunt male. If I wasn't being forced to open my own slaughterhouse to not get stuck in backlogged killing queues I'd be farming livestock now. But I definitely won't balk in the face of the challenge ahead.
