For sure, man! I ordered mine the first of August. I got an email from Dodge 2 days later, confirming my order as well as giving my car the VIN# ! Now 2 months later, I found out that it's 'scheduled for production ' but no date given yet. I know that the Brampton plant (that builds the Charger and the Challenger), was shut down (supply chain issues) for the first half of October, reopening on the 17th now... So, I hope things get moving again.

You did really well on this purchase!! You nailed it on the mistake people make by getting roped in to focus on payment. Always focus on total price is 💯 the best advice. Payment will take care of itself. Sooooooo many people fall for the 4 squares and monthly payment. Negotiate total price. Great video!

Another thing to keep in mind is the rising interest rates. The Fed is scheduled to raise rates in both November and December. It will probably go up another 1.5 points between the two upcoming raises. It’s definitely going to heavily affect your monthly payment, especially if it continues to rise by the time you take delivery.

@@RUBIX3 yeah bro same here. Went up twice while waiting for it to be delivered. Start out at 3% when the order went through and ended up with 6% by the time we picked it up. Credit score over 800 and it still doesn’t matter 🤦🏽‍♀️. Good info and thanks for sharing 💪🏽

Nice review but your trade end $15,000 had a lot to do with your $600 month car note , regardless of credit. For a $60, 000 car you would have to put at least 10% to get that note under $1,000 dollars.

Appreciate that! That shakedown will easily be over $60k since it is pretty loaded and has a shaker package. With mark ups, I would be shocked to see it go for over $70k

I'm guessing maybe closer to 80k for any ScatPack Widebody version as they most likely will be fully loaded, I ordered my 22 Charger ScatPack Widebody with only the Plus Group and the Hemi Orange pkg. in August, and now with another price increase, my car would MSRP at just over 60k. I'd be surprised, but happy if any of the 7 special edition 'Last Call' cars would be sold at MSRP. I figure that here in California at least, they will all be marked up... Biggest dealer here in the north east so they are gonna get most of the special cars for sure. I'm number 2 on the list also I'm a Army veteran so I'm hoping for MSRP.

What packages (plus package, navigation, etc) would you recommend adding when building a widebody scatpack and what packages aren't worth it???

I would suggest not getting nav. You may want to look at what the tech group has but that’s the only package I don’t have and never really wanted it. My only regret is not having a sunroof.

Plus package is worth it. Gives you a much better interior and other features. You don’t need navigation at all.

Hey Z, I ordered my 22 Charger ScatPack Widebody in Triple Nickel with the Hemi Orange pkg and the Plus Group. The Plus Group. Is in my opinion, a good value and the Hemi Orange pkg (if you like the stripe, Orange paying tribute to the Hemi's of the 60s and early 70s) is for the price, a damn good value. The pkg has Orange brake calipers and Orange stitching Plus the leather seats, as well l as the Orange emblems. The Plus has everything in the 'Driver Convenience Group' and more.

You did real good but I did even better on my 20/20 Scat Pack fully loaded with everything for $47,000 out the door. With a decent car payment and I traded in my 2015 Scat Pack. Was 75,000 miles on it. I owed like $6,000 left on it. Give me quite a bit of money for my car

You also have a regular narrow body so in reality you didn’t do better at all…🤦🏽‍♂️ paying $47,000 is crazy when you get nothing the widebody comes with. All they did was raise the price lol and let you think you talked them down. They never expected you to pay 53,000 fully loaded or not. the dealership still won at the end of the day lmao.

My question is when I bought my Daytona a few months ago. They told me it was mandatory for me to drive off the lot I need there warranty package for wheels n tires, plus a drive train package so I did it not realizing my note would go up. He insisted it was mandatory. I recently read the small print on The paper work and it says I can cancel them. You think they will give me a hard time about that? I called the guy and left a message. He never called me back. I am calling him again tomorrow to straighten this out cause I don’t think I need those packages anyway. Plenty people told me already. What do you think?

Those aren’t mandatory at all. You already have a factory warranty on the car. Anything else is usually an extended warranty or whatnot

Late Reply… It’s usually a third party company so you can call them directly and cancel. You should get reimbursed. It’ll be a prorated of course but something is better than nothing.

As of October 1st, the '22 Charger ScatPack price has gone up at least twice... I ordered mine in August and the price increased like October 1st...

I paid 62k for my swinger charger

if it was a small gas saving car would be a good reason to have or keep the 2nd car, but 2 cars that will pat down those pockets every few days for some gas money....naw. dealerships will try to hit you with the number game as far as payments and total price. I don't care about my monthly payments because i always pay my car off early. If they don't come down on the total price then it's on to whoever is willing to. they will even lie about the interest rates you can qualify for just to make their money.

I didn’t pay 56k for this car. This car was less than the sticker price. A couple reasons why I didn’t: 1) I really wanted a widebody. I had a narrow body car before and $56k doesn’t get you a widebody hellcat. I wasn’t going to add one either. Seen a lot of janky looking kits and some bad work on them. Didn’t make sense to me to buy nearly a $60k car to just have to spend another few thousand dollars to get a look I wanted. 2) buying a used car (even with a warranty) you are still not sure what you are getting in terms of reliability. To find a good used car, you need to look everywhere. I didn’t have the time to travel to different places to find and check out cars.
