I am so happy I found your channel!! And more specifically this video! I just bought a bible and will start studying/journaling the Bible.....I used to go to Sunday school and church every week but we stopped going because my brother and sister at the time were too young to sit through a mass so we haven't been for more than 5 years and I decided to start studying the Bible because I have been feeling like I have just been floating through life without being grounded by anything....if that makes any sense and this video is just the thing I was looking for to start my journey so thank you 😁

I’ve tried journaling before and it hasn’t lasted long at all I can’t figure out how to get myself to remember or take time to do it and when I do it I never know where to start. I take (good in my opinion) notes when listening to a sermon I just can’t do the quiet time on my own I never know where to start what to read etc any tips

I used to highlight in my bibles when I was younger whatever the verse the pastor said that lesson or whatever someone else had highlighted in their bible. I did have a bible journal but felt like it wasn’t for me. So I gave it to my mom. I have a bible for the deaf my deaf pastor gave me in 2014 I never used the Bible but always took it with me to church. I finally decided to redo my bible my covering the cover and pages with religious washy tape my mo had on her desk. I want to start highlighting and marking in my bible but I don’t really know how or where to start.

This House of Ours all the time! I have a few videos on this topic but you should look into downloading the YouVersion Bible app...it’s free! It’s an incredible resource. It’s just a Bible for your phone but comes with thousands of devotions and bible studies for free! You can add friends and do studies together as well💛

How do you ask your parents for a bible?

I've gone through baptism, communion, and confirmation in the Catholic church but never read Gods word. In fact I avoided it. As an adult I want to learn and read the bible but I'm so scared about disagreeing with things in the bible. If I disagree one thing I'm told a disagree with God. I'm literally struggling. But I want to study it myself and see for myself. What if I stumble on something that seems wrong in this day and age? ...please do not come at me with hate. I'm genuinely conflicted.

I have sight dyslexia. So if I see a page with no color on it. I have a hard time focusing, reading and understanding it. I get so lost and the letters keeps jumping around. So adding color like highlights just seems to ground the letters. It also helps me to focus and keeps my attention longer (ADD). The writing, coloring, and highlighting keeps my hands busy which also helps my brain to focus. But sometimes I just bring crochet to church, when it's just one of those days.

I love writing!!!! I love journing. I can't draw. Very created. I love paint and making things to. Going to Goodwill as well. Alot in common. Asking the Lord for drawing still hasn't happened. I wrote a book!!! God help me. Still haven't put it out there, because of my aniexy and depressing still working on right now. Trying to find who am!!!! Am trying to find my self??????

I got my journal, bible, bible app, joyce meyer app, but now i'm confusing myself again where to begin. I like the "Just Joy" reading plan on youversion but what do I journal, how do I jouranl?

Lately for the past couple months I’ve been reading off my Bible app mostly rather than my Bible. Do you think the best way to break that habit is to delete the Bible app?
