I stated my first 125 broilers on the 8th of March they matured on the 19 but the selling stated on the 16th of April. They all sold within 4 days. Only 8 chicks died. We learnt a lot. Doctor God used you to inspire me with no doubt. I'm on the path to leave my nursing job to become a full time famer soon. By the way my kids know you too. They know your educative voice. @@nyerostephen608 You need to implement the following important basic procedures. 1. You should strictly implement biosecurity protocol in your farm. [see the two part video on my youtube channel on how to apply biosecurity in poultry farm]. Don't forget salmonella is commonly related with hygienic control. 2. The next step is having a vaccination program. I advice you to include S. Enteritidis and S. Gallinarum in your program as they have public health importance in addition to your flock performance. 3. If occurred in your farm, there are two possible options depending on your countries regulation. Either you use treatment alternatives to control the spread and mortality related issues, or you depopulate the flock (most of the time not applicable in African Countries) Don't forget to subscribe !
