Here's a short story of how I was injured and the first of hopefully many to come to help others in my situation and spread a little bit of motivation if possible.

@@WheelchairLiving1 you’re welcome and couldn’t agree more. While this past year has been the most challenging of my life, my time in ICU, Inpatient Rehab and now Outpatient have also afforded me lessons in humility, faith, compassion and the power of determination that I would never have learned any other way. All the best

The person that shot you by accident, how is he/she coping? For me, that would be super hard to accept if I was in that position. I hope that person is doing well today. And I hope that person knows how well you are doing now.

@@TheBeingReal Lung collapsed, meningitis, will never walk again because of a bullet but your take is bullet good. If an accident like this can happen, whether you Americans like it or not, it is viewed as a net loss. You have been brainwashed to believe that guns are like water, essential, but no they are not. There are many societies around the world that don't hunt wild animals, don't walk round high schools with assault rifles and don't stroke their guns before they go to sleep every night. You think you need this. You don't and this guy sure didn't either.
