You gotta time your attacks right before they make it to you so you hit thier head as they reach you, if you attack to soon theyll get a free hit and run if you wait till they are on you you might miss as they run or only hit thier tail witch doset do as much damage

You can’t make it impossible for them to get you like that or give yourself up to another person so they can’t kill you. You can run from fights though.

I know people will say otherwise, but peck barrage isn’t all that good. Use peck or stab.

I agree since the update I haven’t change my load out, I use peck, and stab. I just find it much easier to use stab as I’m not stuck in such a long animation having to do 3 stabs everytime. Since they nerfed their stamina having peck is almost necessary, especially if you use wing beat to create distance for more survivability.
