This was me after Nysc before I got my first job. I also had my grandma in the house, so it was extra work caring for the elderly 😂😂. Definitely wasn't easy, but like you said, I also mastered management and above all, the fulfillment of serving your parents. Now my grandma is late, and I'm forever grateful to have served wholeheartedly.

Wow! I imagine the fulfillment you must have felt knowing that you served her before she passed. Thank you for sharing this 🫶🏽

Really enjoyed this story time. I haven’t experienced this for a long period because I’ve always been away from home for the most of teenage years. But during my 3 years schooling outside, I’ve had to leave alone off camp and one of the things I learnt to do during that time was bulk cooking. I would go for my classes around 7-8am everyday and come back by 6pm. My weekends were for cooking and stocking up my fridge so i didn’t have to think much about what to eat during the weak. I also used to host my friends a lot and anyone that hosts knows that the work comes when everyone has gone and you have clear up your space 😂😆 One thing I learnt from this video is that no season of our life is ever wasted. I’m one of those who love the structure you have in your home. Thank you mama and my sweet Naomi that featured in mommies video😂🤗

So spot on! No season of your life is wasted. Plus you see that cleaning up after people have gone 😮‍💨 If I had to host my friends back then, best believe we are using disposable plates and cutlery 😅 Thank you for your kind feedback 🫶🏾

You hit the nail on the head. It truly builds us up. But to think that I started what you're talking about from age 8 is wildddd...

Normal levels! I don’t even know how many years I did this for! When I came back after secondary sch (boarding school) I schooled in same town where my parents lived, infact my school back gate was 2mins walk from my house 😩 I went to school from home… my mum ran a printing press and returns home earliest 8pm(some days as late as 10pm) I did virtually everything. We had a poultry (about 500birds) na me be poultry care taker! We had fish ponds too 😩😩 I suffered. All through my stay in school I didn’t even attend any departmental or school night program…. Let me add that I’m the 2nd born, my elder sister was in Madonna uni…I had 5 YOUNGER ONES from age 3 to 14. It was crazy! My dad has a special diet too, making 2 different breakfast fast every morning, and making lunch for my younger ones to take to school and meeting up with early morning lectures😰 some days I will forget to feed the birds in the morning, I will remember in class and start running home because you know broilers die very fast( one day I came home and saw 6dead chickens 😢) We didn’t even have washing mashing, I wash heap on cloths every Saturday! Then some days my dad will refuse to refill the gas, he will pack the woods from his building sites home and we will have to cook with fire wood 😅😢😰 imagine waking up early morning to go cook with fire wood. Mehhhn remembering all these just triggered me. On my wedding day I was happy!!!! 😂 😂Like I got a break the moment I got married.

I enjoyed the story time. Thank you. It might help if you put jojoba oil or coconut oil on the wipes before wiping your face. Even olive oil would do. Any oil, really. Vaseline sef 😅

Whilst editing this I said the same thing to myself. Don’t know why I didn’t and I kept on wiping and wiping. Lol. Thank you for being so kind in your delivery. 🤗
