This might be extremely inappropriate to say, but I was genuinely happy to hear that you struggled so much with Clam. I had the same experience when going through it on my low turn count run, down to the unexpected difficulty, the poison, the dissatisfying ending, and the dread of having to go back to redo it. No one else when I checked had showed any signs of being as crestfallen as I was after clearing that stage, and it went so far as to make me question if I was actually good at the game. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this video. EDIT: Wow, this even mirrors my experience on the Moth, please keep this series up, this is an absolutely huge morale boost! If I had to take a wild wild guess, and if it's any similar to my blind run, the pain would be at Effloresced Ahab, mostly because of the fallout that is the trio.

When glupo does it, it's fine because that's his entire gimmick. Clam has the sp loss, the poison AND the slimes.

Quite funny and ironic that the structure and pacing of the video is the exact opposite of what he, and everyone else, thought it would be. Easy > Hard is instead Hard > Easy

Honestly that little detail about the hidden effect on the Skin prophet kinda made me think about something. Ive often seen the joke about “Project Moon Fans Can’t Read” and it is entirely valid… but Ive been wondering why that is. And I think its because as amazing as project moon can be in terms of writing narratives…. every single game Ive played by them has absolutely horrendous tutorials and relies entirely on the player figuring out how things work through playing the game. Which from one perspective is actually really fun given how satisfying I find games like Ruina can be when you finally figure out how the game works and how it completely changes how you look at cards. But it does come with the downside… when it comes to gameplay we have been taught that reading is often unnecessary or actively misleading in its worst cases. This isn’t helped by even if the player wants to read enemy Passives their blocked off until I think something causes them to be activated. Or how a lot of skills have basically nothing abilities tied to their skills. Like the best example being Ninclair’s skill 3. Its still probably the single best skill in the entire game….. and it has so so so many effects that are never used apart of it. Like on the third hit if the target has 5+ bleed inflict 7 burn. Or a lot of the early game enemies have skills with a bunch of effects that just will never ever come up or are worth reading because you just steam roll them. I think that this is actually why I really like watching challenge runs like these because you actually get to see what the mechanics of each fight are. tldr: I think that effects surprise triple burn is just one of the many reasons why the majority of the players treat reading as “if it comes up then Ill learn it otherwise not gonna bother”.

On ABM when you gave the range of resets from 1 to 72 I honestly thought "72 is a weirdly specific roof, that's probably the amount of attempts that it took", however I was just wrong. So congrats you earned yourself a new subscriber.

I think after struggling through this railway with these terrible teams, it would be super fun to see you trying to make the most OP team possible to run through the railway as a contrast :D I enjoy your quality content a lot, thanks for making entertaining and educational videos for Limbus :)

Not possible unless you own every/most ids and preferably 000 and you can only use 1 support id, unlike worst team possible since a lots of them is either 00 ids, S1 ids, or even base ids.

This is actually the true rail way guide, following it through you could probably beat this railway with all base sinners… Base sinners like heath, honglu, ryoshu are actually very decent, and base sinners passive are also very strong, you’d probably have better luck playing a full base sinners team then this crap here.

This is such an uplifting thing to watch ever since being flooded with misery in limbus lounge. I will be there no matter what for when you do this to Railway 4.

I dont know if you ESGOO are gonna read this but, it really is ok man, i love these challenges in lots of games and it was never a trouble for me, and for a lot of people, to bend a bit rules, or work another way around cause while these challenges are supposed to be HARD, it mainly has to be entertaining and enjoyable for both the viewer and the maker of the video. I mean, last time E.G.O was not on any rule and it is kinda neat here, but realistically the worst team is indeed really painful to play, and if we want the REAL worst team we would just go with only base EGO. So yeah what im trying to get to is that, don't get too frustated, i REALLY do enjoy these videos and they are lots of fun to me, so, hardest of the challenges or the most plain analysis on a said identity i will enjoy it anyways, keep up the good work man, and i truly am one that wants to imagine ESGOO happy.

New player shuffled to your tutorial after I picked up the game due to a certain bamboo hatted man a month ago, absolutely loving the content as I'm making my way through the game (and also planning on trying RR3 for the first time soon here hopefully so this will serve as a nice complement to know that I'm not the only one suffering).

11:30 fun fact, Nrodion is the second highest damage dealing N corp id, being the only other one to be able to deal 100+ fatal damage, outside of status effects like damage/power up (the jump between ninclair and nrodion in terms of damage is like, 3x lmao)

Nrodion is actually kinda good, but like Esgoo mentioned, she really needs the full Ncorp team to work. She has higher speed compared to most of the Ncorp IDs and her passive gives her even more whenever any enemy dies, meaning her S1 can let her stack up a ton of nails before the others so they can trigger their "At X+ nails, do a thing" effects. While her S2 does roll a max 10 which really isn't great at all, due to her speed you can often let her attack unopposed, and take advantage of the paralyze she and Nfaust inflicts to make her clash above her weight class. She's really built around momentum-playing, where you rush in, keep the pressure on, and steamroll the enemy before they can really do much. Though sadly, she really does suffer from being a canto 3 ID. You can almost tell when an Id released based on what their typical rolls are. Her S2 rolling a base 6, max 10, with "on clash win" conditionals is rather good, but only specifically in canto 3 where some of the most dangerous skills you see outside of the major bosses are base 3 with 3 coins, or base 7 with 3 -1 coins. Being able to roll a base 6 means the enemy MUST flip at least 2 of their coins to even have a chance of winning, and since she only has 2 coins, at 45 sanity she's unlikely to ever lose unless all 3 enemy coins flip heads, which that paralyze application won't let happen easily. So few enemies have a ceiling higher than 10, and the ones that do usually only barely reach past it meaning one clash won ensures Nrodion's bound to win Then Canto 4 arrives, and you can very clearly see when exactly things changed, with the release of 4.2. The Kcorp units in 4.1 all rolled in a reasonable range, with their danger being just how stupidly durable they were, with the special Kcorp guards being the extremely dangerous enemies to worry about. Then once 4.2 arrives with the Tech Liberation Alliance, some of the basic enemies now have base powers in the range of 6-8, some of the more dangerous attacks have ceilings of 15 or higher, and it's genuinely difficult to find enemies after the shows up that can't at least roll higher than a 10. Not to mention with the Bots all resisting Bleed, her reliance on Nails and bleed application cuts off a lot of her damage output aside from her S3, and with their fixed 50/50 sanity, you can't rely on momentum-killing enemies to lower sanity and make clashing even easier as the fight goes on. Not to mention now in Canto 5, the sheer number of negative coin enemies means that your base roll doesn't mean anything anymore, your ceiling is all that matters, and when basic enemies have a ceiling of 12 for most of their abilities at minimum, Nrodion's ceiling of 10 and reliance on paralysis does jack shit for her. She was pretty clearly designed for "early Limbus Company", which was designed fundamentally differently from the current game. That was back when 45 sanity meant having 75% odds to hit heads, not 95%, and it wasn't until 4.2 dropped that it was changed to how it is now. Plus, losing a clash could lose sanity, meaning it was a lot hard to stay consistently at high sanity numbers even without EGO using SP up. NRodion worked well then because she had high base power and low coin power, meaning clashes were harder to lose when starting off at 50 sanity, and if you did end up losing a clash, you didn't lose that much clash power or damage since her base power was still rather high.

This video is a perfect encapsulation of why you're my favorite Limbus content creator by far. The sheer amount of knowledge you have about this game and the way you find and abuse any possible angle to make the impossible happen is staggering and incredible to watch. Thank you for undertaking this challenge and sharing it with us, and if nothing else, I hope the closure of having put it behind you makes it at least somewhat worthwhile.

I love rr3 more than rr2 due to less tedium in rounds. But your video made me realize another aspect of gameplay that was lost. I love rr3 boss fights but Ive build up tons of good ids already to choose from. I actually hit similar problems in rr1 where I love using lower 00 and 0 ids and got dps checked. It was frustrating because I lack the resources to build better ids.

God i HATED fighting ambling pearl, even though i had a SUBSTANTIALLY better team for it. I *am* underleveled for the railway, though. It takes a fucking WHILE and the slimes are extremely punishing if you let them live. Gonna have to do the fight again, because i decided to full reset after seeing moth, in a very hasty decision… (though, i have *literately* no option to clash against ABR.) I’ll have to get more ego resources to even get to *try*, but hopefully it’ll be faster now that i have more experience with the fights. It’s comforting to know *Someone* suffered on clam as well, and gives me hope seeing you first try fluke moth. I should get to that second attempt, though…

27:58 honestly I can’t see why having Gregor would not be allowed here tbh. Code G-0 is: 1.Constant as it activates every turn (effectively) 2.Predictable as before every combat you can know exactly who gets the healing no rng involved 3. And a non-factor in combat as outside of the edge cases where a sinner would die (which would be incredibly rare and also would result in an immediate reset) as none of the sinners (from what I remember) have hp based effects so for individual attacks there’s no difference between being at 1 hp or 1 million for clashing power, damage output, etc. The passive itself is statistically just a retroactive odds booster as the healing can just be interpreted as “oh yeah that clash way before, I actually won that”/ “that attack I ate actually rolled lower/targeted differently,etc.” Litterally just an rng booster that’s all y’all’s.
