anyone beating their first extreme is exciting. my first extreme was artificial ascent which was top 92 at the time when i beat it. it was a 6 month journey but eventually pulled through. love that level. gets a 10/10 from me. afterwards i went for rust while toe2 was my 5th hardest. eventually i beat that too. then went for oblivion and dropped it after a year cuz of school and not having the time to grind the game like before. burnt myself out so now i just dropped the game entirely pretty much. pretty happy with my 3 year gd progress.

good job! no matter what rating label people decide to categorize acu into, just know you beat a very very hard level and you should be proud of that, no matter what. its a good level too, so its a good gateway into the extreme demons either way. big ggs, hope to see you play more gd!

What the hell my furthest death was 95 and even that was bad, it was 85-90 that destroyed me way way more.

I've literally died in the exact spot thats on the thumbnail lmao i got 95%, 97%, and 98%x2 and after about 9 months of having 98% i finally beat it in january of 2023. it took me 22k attempts, and to this day it is the hardest level ive beaten. I jumped to it from The Furious, which is a hard demon but imo is harder than windy landscape so I think it should be an insane. Its really cool to see other people play and beat this level as a new hardest. Congrats on your completion, and I wish you luck with whatever you decide to do afterwards :)

congrats, you're a gd youtuber now! GG on your first extreme. I beat Acu as my first extreme and in less than 2 months my hardest was Prismatic Haze. If you just keep playing, you can improve at a crazy rate! But if you ever get tired of a level, please, take a break. That's some of the most valuable advice there is. GL!

Im glad im not alone in being bad for a long time. Like hearing it took you like 8 years to beat your first medium makes me feel not so alone. Of course youve beaten an extreme and stuff now. But I've been playing this game for around 8 years and am barely working on my first medium. Been dropping the game pretty frequently. But this gives me some hope and motivation that maybe i could make some more progress if i really put my mind to it!

GG. Feels relieving to see longtime players who are just starting to break out like myself. Been playing since 1.4 and took a 5 year break before 2.2 released and I've been grinding ever since. I beat The Behemoth as my first medium demon back in February. After going for more medium and hard demons, and even a few insanes, I'm now going for Sigma Interface, my first extreme.

i love how everyone has their own unique path to an extreme in this game, I wish you luck!

I started playing acu a year ago i think (wow it has been long) and my hardest is still nine circles, i got 77% in the first 2 months and then i just struggled with motivation, i played it for like 2 days every month because i was just so demotivated and i still havent beaten it, im currently at 17k attempts because of my on and off playing. I even tried bloodbath and i got somewhere around 50% after 6k attempts and now im at around 10k attempts and im still not motivated to beat anything. I just really want to jump to a difficult level for some reason but that has ruined my motivation for the game sadly. thanks for coming to my ted talk or something idk but good job beating acu!

50 on Bloodbath in only 6k is insane

this is surprisingly similar to my path to my first extreme, i played years ago before 2.1, dropped the game and picked it back up again abt a year later, beat some easy and medium demons, beat nc and future funk, beat magma bound and ff ii, then finally went for maybe possibly thing (which btw is 100% should not be at 600 on the all rated demon list) which i eventually did, going for bloodbath rn and i have 33-96 somehow. gl on ur future lvls

good job!! ive been playing since around id say 2017ish (i did have some experience with the game in 2015) and funnily enough i only beat my first insane demon earlier this year (which was duelo and ive beaten it two different times since) and ive wanted to beat an extreme for quite a while.

CraZy III is in some ways harder than Acu. Just the fact that you managed to pull through a 3 minute level is great progress, definitely go for Acu.

You I have the same thing i played the game like 7 years ago on and off and droppped it so many times my hardest was like verity (med demon) until i seriously started playing like 4 months ago i beat nc then 8o and then acu like a week ago now i got 40 percent on idols and my next hardest I actually enjoy the game a lot more and hope i can make it to the top one day. ps: I also died at the exact same spot as u at 97 😥also love the content style def subbing.

I also recently beat my first extreme demon. I jumped from nine circles to glisten on mobile and it only took 4k attempts even though glisten feel’s definitely like an insane demon. Good video btw!

I always find the best videos from smaller channels, great stuff! As an extreme player I could recommend stuff like mystic bounds or napalm or whatever, but its up to u. I personally see potential (especially if u thought fairydust was a medium demon like hello 😭) but u def could get really good I can see it

GGs on ACU! Honestly, for extremes I do recommend Headlock by Pocke, the whole level is learny and first practice run will feel impossible, but the level gets REALLY consistent and once you know what you are doing, it's one of the most fun experiences I've had in the game. :^)

3:13 Acropolis is like rlly hard imo like Hard insane demon difficulty (way harder than windy, supersonic, etc.) but idk maybe we have different skillsets Also 3:37 damn you and I must have different skillsets to the rest of the community because most ppl find the beginning to be the hardest part but I find it to be one of the easiest and ig you do too? So that's cool Also damn this is a rlly unique video, as opposed to most gd youtubers (ik you're not rlly a gd youtuber but whatever) you have mostly talking after the fact instead of highlights, which is nice to see! The balancing for acropolis is horrible and yet, for me at least, the level did get consistent past the first ball. The cube at the beginning is the hardest part imo.

this has inspired me to complete harder levels hahaha, i been playing the game similarly to you since i was little, and until a while ago i only beat easy medium demons, recently I beat Future Funk and it was really fun, ever since beating it i didnt know what to go for and now I'm trying to complete the Insane Demon Dream Travel, with one week in I got already 35% and pretty consistent practise runs, wish me luck and good video

huge ggs! i just beat acu as a first extreme about 2 weeks ago, and i know that feeling lol (i somehow beat it in 7k attempts as a jump from a medium, assuming my skill comes from me making layouts for insane-extreme difficulty levels and play testing them myself[but it doesn't explain my insanely fast progression on the main levels but whatever]) anyways gg have a good day

I beat top 200-ish extended list demon, even though I'm incredibly bad at the game, just because I have decent memory. I literally jumped from Acu to a top 186, and everyone ignored it, lol. This extreme is Of Ambrosia, and it's actually deserves extreme, and it's actually insane.

As an ACU victor, this level was overly consistent after enough grinding, but i hated it ngl. My fault probably though because i did jump to it from deadlocked😅

Just consider yourself lucky, I tried beating Acu as a first extreme and I was jumping from a higher end medium demon (Not my best decision) I eventually started getting really good at the level until I died at 97% 3 times. That doesn’t even include all the other deaths I got past 85%, then after about a year and 21k attempts I finally beat it in September. Since then I’ve beaten 6 extremes with my hardest being Daydream by Yendis which I did in 7k, imo this was a great video and I hope you’re channel blows up at some point

GG's on Acu man, recently just beat it yesterday myself after a really lucky fluke from 58% (still shocked by it). If you're looking to get even better and don't mind jumping a little, go for The Cellar Path! I heard it's really fun but it's a good bit harder than Acu.

Playing when he was a kid, beating his first medium demon after many years of "playing" (classic), starts with Nine Circles levels (that's literally me, my 2nd demon was Nine Circles and then just beat Jawbreaker and Fairydust [and later Poltergeist and Nine CircleX] casually [if you haven't, NEVER PLAY NINE CIRCLEX) so there's little to no improvement, my first insane demon was Supersonic, which was, well, not wave carried, that was my most miserable week of my life almost (please find levels you actually enjoy, I wouldn't recommend Supersonic even to my worst enemy holy was that BAD). Then, well, like brodie and a LOT of other people, I found Acu. "Music is nice, it's visually stunning, I've heard it's very easy for an extreme demon, doesn't LOOK TOO bad", and just a practice run after I couldn't possibly see myself beating that entire level in one run. Yeah, guess what. 13 days later I had beaten the level (with... way too many attempts [24095]). I was still arguably really bad, only really consistently "good" at wave and even then mediocre, the truth is you don't NEED to be really good to play such levels, you just need to FOCUS on ONE level and practice properly. Skill is a whole different thing. And I say that because I am currently trying to beat a top 150 demon (Ourwa). Uhm, my hardest is top 700 and have TRIED Bloodbath and couldn't be bothered beating it because it's "hard", what the fuck am I doing? But, AGAIN, Bloodbath is TRASH, and playing a level you don't enjoy is torture. Whereas Ourwa is way, WAY harder technically, but it's one of the most fun levels to play and really consistent, and I'm hoping to beat it in like 2 weeks (something like 40k attempts by the end? good enough for me). I'm in no way a player who can beat extended list demons, yet here I am am about to beat one. That's for my yap session, hope you found it in any way motivational, and I can guarantee anyone who's "good" at the game (has beaten a few extremes harder than Acu/Cataclysm) would enjoy playing Ourwa and very possibly beating it with enough grind, motivation and determination, because that's all I have, bare minimum skill required. As for brodie, I would highly recommend the level Make It Drop by ryamu (yes, the Acheron guy). It's a very easy extreme demon, in my opinion easier than Acu but it heavily depends on experience. The two ship parts (at 18% and ~90%) are questionable, but everything else is super consistent and very satisfying to pull off, and the level is visually stunning, I WISH I had a better monitor to enjoy it more, but I swear, with a good monitor you'll really like it. Just do NOT go into it thinking you'll have an easy time just because you beat Acu, the first time you learn a level it very often crushes you, just be confident, that's all.

I literally have the same progress ladder as you. I went from nine circles to windy landscape and then to acu. Took me 11415 attempts but still, beating your first extreme is probably the most exiting thing you'll ever achieve in this game. Good shit.

The feeling of a level being easier than what it’s rated is my biggest weakness, my hardest as of now is Anarchy Road, a hard demon, at the time it was an insane demon because people like to vote demons incorrectly very often, and I felt like it was deserving of the rating, but then I watched Viprin’s completion of the level, where he said it was a medium demon, instantly felt awful when I read that, and even worse, the level got rerated to hard, now I’m trying to "jump" to Kitty, a level that people consider a pretty tough hard demon that’s close to being insane, 30% and ~77-100 iirc

Crowd control is a level that I spent quite a bit of time practicing. It has a very challenging wave early in the level, but everything after that is around Acu difficulty so I would recommend!

this game brings you some very unique emotions, it feels so strange beating levels you thought were impossible back when you started playing

We're pretty much the same. My hardest level was a medium demon for a while. Then i just randomly decided to get good and went nine circles, future funk, leyak, and finally acu within a few weeks. Working on bloodbath right now. I have 71% and a 10% to 90% run. Anyone can get good at this game if you are determined enough lol

I would definitely recommend getting Geode(mod) which gives you access to a ton of mods including one of the best mods click between frames( go watch doggie gds vid on why its so good) and for a next extreme / insane i would recomend : glisten , ILOVECYAN , or lost myself :)

GG! i dropped acu when i got 98% because of demotivation and now im skipping 500~ levels in the aredl (acu is around 950 in the list), and now im playing hot rod and having some nice progress of 85%, also jumping from an insane

Great video! I had a very similar journey to you, found out about windy landscape years ago and wanted to beat it at some point, and jumped from it to Acu (while taking breaks from the game many times). I beat Decay by Kiwipenguin after Acu; I'd highly recommend it. It's a very unique extreme, but incredibly well done and very satisfying to play. I also want to beat Kiwipenguin's other levels at some point, they're all very unique

Beat Avernus it's one of the easiest Extreme Demons, and the Gameplay is really fun! On a serious note though, Bloodbath could be your next as it has some easy and some hard parts and the music is really good. Will definitely stay around watching your streams and videos!

@@imnotbrodie I had a similar experience with it. Around 2 years ago I tried the level and spent 5000 attempts, and after that I quit and dropped the game. I didn‘t get far, but after I came back to the level, which is a few months ago, I beat the level in 2 days.

02:43 i'd say the hardest part of acu is the start, you get consistent "somewhat" but it stilll for me feels harder, very interresting seeing this from a perspective somewhat simular to mine, i started in 2014 and got good in 2021 lol

I am also one of those gd veterans who have been playing for 8 years and dropped the game like 20 times. Spend 5 years on easy demons, a year on medium demons. And holy shit now I have 3 insane demons under my belt.

congratulations on the completion!! 15k attempts as a jump from windy landscape is not bad at all :) i jumped from bloodbath (top 500) to congregation (top 90) so i get the struggle of jumping lol. ACU is my hardest level as well and while it is one of the easier extreme demons it still very well deserves that title. ACU took me about 9,900 attempts and the hardest insane demon I’ve beaten took me roughly 2,600. Congrats on the completion!

I suggeat using the geode mod if you are not using it already. It is basically an intergrated mod downloader where with a click of a button you just install 1 mod to the game and there are plenty of mods. There's one specific mod called "Click Between Frames" which is pretty self explanetory and it assists the player a lot. It's not fully approved by RobTop, but major members of the commhnity such as the Pointercrate Demon List Team and the All Rated Extreme Demon List (a.k.a. AREDL) team.

We are the exact same! I play the game on and off every few years, and had the same progression: nine circles -> windy landscape -> acu. Acu is still my only extreme. I don’t really know what to do on gd so I’ve been playing other games
