This is when I find my old strait stitch Singer 301 really shines. It is amazing at getting around those tight corners and sews threw marien vinyl like butter. I use school glue sticks to paist down my applique pieces and had no problems with it guming up my needle. Thanks for all your tips this really is fun and a great way to use up scraps and jazz up a simple pattern.

It looks amazing. I want to make a note book cover so bad !!!

Very nice! I can barely topstitch the straight lines to put the front and lining together, so I will need practice. Slow and longer stitch length is helping me improve. I did a big Harry Potter quote embroidery on the cover with the Sorting Hat snap tab by Connie and that was fun too

Hi my friend....I hope all is well. I have a general question about another sewing video.....hope you don't mind. You mentioned you like to use 40 wt thread on your handbag items you make. Since you got me into handbags and wallets....it's ur fault 😊....what type or brand of 40 wt thread do you use? Do you still use polyester or something else? Thanks
