My father, who was an Army Company Commander, taught me that: if you cannot write your daily to-do list in the palm of your hand, then that list is too long. 💕

Awesome idea. I think I'll write it on the palm of my hand. 😁

Great content as usual. A strong mindset turning point for me was focusing on refraining from being a consumer of content and focus on being a content creator. My past self spent a lot of time/energy currency on consuming TV, video games and novels. My 5am wake up with dedicated 1 hour writing session daily is key to shifting to the role of producer instead of consumer.

Many of us start off as consumers and that’s a critical time. But yes, agree that we must all make the shift to creator.

I have severe ADHD and I recently have been trying to learn to stop judging myself based on others, and instead focus on keeping up the writing in general.

I also have ADHD. It's been just over a year and a half since my diagnosis. Even though it's been years since I've heard this advice, it has finally sunk in: Begin with Self-Acceptance. Accept yourself just for being who you are. There is only one of you ever in all the world and all of human history. That makes you truly one of a kind! Accept the parts of you, without judging that those parts are "good" or "bad". Accept that there are things about you that you can change (like choosing to be a writer), and there are things that you cannot change (such as having ADHD). Accept that you cannot choose how other people will choose to respond to you, to who you are, to how you are, to what you do or don't do. Accept that you have your own unique combination of gifts and limitations, of interests and qualifications. YOU make the very best YOU that can ever be! ... I made the following conscious decision about myself a few months back: All that I really have control over are My Own ACTIONS & ATTITUDES.

And having ADHD, I have to accept that I don't have as good of control over my actions as I would like to... But I can choose to have an attitude of accepting my limitations, and keep striving to take action on my goals and dreams of being a writer. (It's taking much longer than I envisioned, but I've learned to be more patient with myself, to be less judgemental of myself, and I'm investing time and effort into learning to work with my ADHD instead of against it. When I get that figured out, maybe I'll write a book! 😉)

I so appreciate your channel. Some writers prioritize feelings; others prioritize follow-through. You are clearly amongst the latter. ❤️

Great tips! One thing I've been doing is working on my organization. I think it's important and really helps with one's author business, or any business for that matter, as I'm intending to have two of them: one for my books/publishing and the other for my online store.

Great video, Michael. I looked you up on Publisher Rocket and am pleased that you are making some money on all your books - a lot of them. Most You Tube people are not making money on their books and that is disheartening for the viewer.

I think this pandemic/infection has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn’t mean security rather having different investments is the real dear

Trading options with Mrs Clarissa is a good chance to make money and start paying your bills. It’s the best opinion to get out of debt.
