Could you make a more detailed video of the warm up injury prevention rutine? That would help, thats something we never do.

With that type of training you’ll get your atp point very soon and not just one! Just a quick reminder, don’t forget applying sunscreen in 3-4h, skin cancer is a thing. If you have a spare time it’s always good to remind your viewers about the importance of sunscreen 😉, it’s very important in outdoors sport, maybe we can save 1 life or 2

We buried a ultra-distance runner friend at 40. Skin cancer. Ran 20+ miles on Wednesday. Dead on Saturday.
The amount of work and dedication it takes to get just one atp point is insane
Felix! Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you taking in all the feedback. Haha I think I requested more food and lifestyle highlights and you incorporated that. So great. I'm really rooting for your journey man!!
I'm torn on a lot of the recovery stuff here, but it's interesting and the facilities out there look insane! Wish we had something similar closer to home... the added sunlight hours would be nice too!

@@tennisbrothers hi Felix, not that it is really big or anything, but I won my 12 and under tournament today, and apparently my Utr is 5.7.. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
The saber racket is genius! I can see why it helps... after hitting with it you are so used to the precision you need to hit the ball, so when you switch back to your normal racket it's so easy to hit the center for those clean crisp shots. Good method!
@riosrios5466

To carry it to extremes you could also use a tennis pointer (KZread e.g. "Tennis Pointer Drill (Wooden Spoon) - Jalena Meyer"). The saber racket and tennis pointers have one thing in common: For advanced players with decent technique only! Everyone else will probably if not certainly hurt shoulder/elbow/arm/wrist.

Mans hit with Tsitsipas lol
Your first coach, João Monteiro, was such an amazing prospect! It was a shame he struggled with so many injuries. I remember watching him two years ago against Carlos Alcaraz and that 2nd set was really tight.
This is what we love to see!! Hope you finally achieve what you deserve to next week!!

Dude, keep going for it. It’s so great to see someone going for their dreams. You have so many people behind you, keep going !
Wow brother, this really shows how good of a shape you need to be in and the amount of dedication needed to get better. This is an eye opener. You’ll be there in no time, just keep practicing
you are a inspiration for so much youn players !! i see a lot improvement in your game dude
really cool that some of the drills you showed are the same ones I used to do back in the day. Really appreciate the insights, please keep sharing and wish you all the best!
Great, Felix💪🏼💪🏼🎉
It's pretty insane to see how much work goes into preparing to play. But it definitely pays off I think! Great work 😄
Nice mate Good luck for upcoming futures
I love these series
Thank you for another great video along the way towards your goal. Nice to see the warm-up and recovery sections. As a former health provider, the warm-up is so important in injury prevention, and the viewer who commented below about ample and frequent sunscreen is spot on in reducing skin cancer risk. You might not see the benefits now, or ever truly know what you've prevented, but in twenty years or so, sunscreen use now could literally save your life. What a great academy to be able to train at. I know you'll reach your goal and surpass it. Keep up the good work!
Felix inspires me to keep grinding in tennis
Unreal what at great experience, keep up the hard work 💪💪💪👍
You are gonna be a champion.....for sure just keep going.
Another great video, I really hope that you go on to have a decent tennis career as you are certainly going about things the right way. I am sure that after a little bit more match practice against the higher ranked players you will start to rack up the match wins and get your ATP point. I reckon you will get it before the end of summer at the latest. Good luck for the future.
These are the kind of videos I subscribed for :)
Guys ! You are doing amazing ! Great content! I wouldn't change anything ! Great cuts from the videos , videos editor did a great job !
Second, love u. Ur definitely going to get ur 1st atp point this year. Let’s go!!!
You've got the Tennis strokes. Just keep pushing on your strength and conditioning really hard and I'm sure, in no time, you'll realise your goal. To get to pro level Tennis these days, you have to become a high level athlete first. Aim for that, the rest will follow. Great work :)
Great video! Keep it going
Ohhhhh geez, the sprint exercise is really a no joker, it’s one of the most difficult part of conditioning that you can ever imagine, I was feeling it on my quads and calves, to be honest I didn’t like that feeling haha, but overall the drills on the court are my absolute favorite of all time except one which is going around the cone drill haha. Love the improvement as always Felix💚🌟😊
It‘s super crazy how good of a backhand you have, really brother! Thank you for those behind the scene videos, super interesting

Great video man! An injury prevention/rehab video would be really good if you get a chance... currently dealing with a reoccurring tendonitis/repetitive strain issue in the arm, elbow and shoulder (moves around) which is absolutely doing my head in 😂

Hey not sure if this would be helpful but when I was running tack in college - for away meets - At the hotel I would set up one ice bath and use my friends other hotel room for a hot bath and rotate between the two of them for contrast baths. I would always run faster on day two of meets so I think it worked really well.
So cool! Love it!

In my opinion you literally just have to play matches wether that’s tournaments or practise sets with as many different opponents as possible, some a little better, some right around your level and some a little worse so you get used to playing with pressure because nobody likes losing to players they know they should or could beat which is why we tighten up in match play. Don’t get frustrated by losses because you only get good at match play by experimenting and losing over and over again until you figure out what works for you. But If you’re looking for immediate improvements I’d say footwork makes all the difference in match play. You have to be so much more intense with footwork then you would be in practise because in practise most of the time your hitting partner is hitting good deep shots that you can wait for but in tournaments it’s way more scrappy people push or use low slice or moonballs and in these matches those crosscourt or deep neutral ball drills we spend hours doing kind of go out the window. so you can’t wait on the baseline you have to be fast moving forward and back.
@TheRabbitsaver
2 жыл бұрын
Start out with making sure that the practice session intensity is similar to your matches. Secondly get the kids a proper training and tournament plan. You need to make sure you have an year end target and then plan your tournament circuit(Africa, Europe, Asia) depending on what level the kids are or what target you set or what your financial condition is. It is very hard to give a specific answer to your question since it is a very general question :) But high intensity training, lot of points in training, tournament, diet and recovery plan will set you on the right path my man
@conorbergan4843

As a u16 player myself, you need to really probe the player. Figure out what their worst shot is, if they feel comfortable at the net, and their serve tendencies.
@tennisbrothers
2 жыл бұрын
Just adding to the other comments - it may sound funny but it also should be fun 🤩. Make the training fun at times and provide good positive feedback - focussing on things the players do well. Remind everyone that no one is perfect in tennis and that losing is as important as winning ( to learn from it ) It’s unfortunately a sport where top 100 players lose more in a year then they win. So one must accept losing as a integral part of development rather then the “enemy”’
amazing keep it up
